Last month, I wrote a piece aptly titled “We’re Pretty Sure These 3 Red Bull Flavors Are Getting the Axe in 2026” about some well-founded rumors. Well, I’m feeling pretty good about my track record because I was just sent an internal Red Bull announcement confirming those three discontinuations and a fourth casualty! We already covered the four Red Bulls returning to shelves in 2026; let’s talk about which Red Bull flavors had to die to make room.

Which sugarfree Red Bull flavors are going away?

Back in July 2024, Red Bull launched sugarfree variants of two fan-favorite flavors permanently—a first for the brand. That experiment is now over, as both Sugarfree Watermelon Red Edition and Sugarfree Strawberry Apricot Amber Edition are set to go the way of the dodo. (Don’t worry, the full sugar versions are safe…for now.) Judging by my comments section, SF Red and SF Amber have a contingent of diehard fans planning to stock up in a major way. If you want one last taste of these drinks, hunt them down now before the doomsday preppers clear the shelves.

Which full sugar Red Bull flavors are going away?

Say bye-bye to Blueberry, folks. Yes, we’re losing one of the oldest Red Bull Editions; the Blue Edition was one of the first three Editions launched back in 2013. This cut was a long time coming in my opinion—there’s just too many damn blue Red Bulls.

The Blue Edition will be joined in the great fridge in the sky by 2024’s Curuba-Elderflower Green Edition. (That clarification is important—there have been three different Green Editions in our lifetimes.) Losing the oldest and newest Red Bull Editions in one fell swoop…Red Bull is ruthless, y’all. At least they’ll be replaced by true modern classics.

When will these flavors disappear for good?

Red Bull has already stopped producing these four flavors, but you won’t see them leave shelves for good until the existing backstock is fully depleted. Red Bull expects these to be entirely off the market by mid-January 2026, meaning you have a couple months to get one last taste before they say goodbye.

Which Red Bull flavors are replacing them?

Luckily for us, I already know which four Red Bulls will take these valuable shelf spaces. I covered the news in detail late last month, but here’s a summary: We’ll see the permanent return of 2024’s Iced Vanilla Berry Winter Edition and 2025’s White Peach Summer Edition in both full sugar and sugarfree.
