Well…summer’s almost over. Again. This time of the year always feels like a bit of a no man’s land, particularly when it comes to food. A lot of brands and retailers are either biding their time before they put out their fall deals, or they’ve already started going full-pelt with their Halloween and pumpkin spice products.

‘Twas ever thus – but that also means there are some nice little opportunities for companies to get in there with their end-of-summer offers. And 7-Eleven wants to get your attention for the next week with its drink savings. Hey, that thermostat’s still way up.

7-Eleven Drink Deals

For the next eight days – you have eight days, people! – 7-Eleven’s offering a slew of deals on its drinks range, for both its bottled and fountain drinks. First up, 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can grab Large Big Gulp drinks for just 59 cents apiece, which includes the new Lipton Fusion Strawberry Lemonade Tea fountain beverage. Large Big Gulps typically hover close to the $1.50 mark on either side, and signing up for 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards is free, so…no-brainer here.

Then, 7-Eleven’s offering a duo of two-for-X deals, starting with 2 for $3 on its vitamin-packed 7-Select Fusion drinks and 2 for $5 on 7-Select Fusion Shots. Or, you can keep things a bit more reasonable, with 2 for $2.50 7-Select Value Juice and Tea drinks. Again, these are fairly modest savings — but look, summer can be an expensive time (especially if, like me, you have been spending yours trying to embrace as much of the warm weather as possible, which has come with spending a little more money than I would like). Every little helps.

And I Have Eight Days?

Yup. 7-Eleven’s end-of-summer deals are running until August 25 at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores. As ever, if you’re heading to a store specifically to avail of them, check ahead of time if you can, to avoid endless, crushing disappointment.

To be totally honest, these deals are being slightly reframed by the convenience chain here: They’ve actually been running ALL summer, and you could have gotten any one of these since late June. But we’re not going to quibble with being reminded that there are savings to be made on drinks – and food. 7-Eleven’s back-to-school deal on its breakfast wraps and biscuits is also still fully in motion, and will be until August 25.
