Is Alani Nu Pink Lemonade Making a Comeback? A Leak on Facebook Says Yes

We’ve got a spicy one today, y’all. Allegedly, a long-lost Alani Nu flavor is returning in 2026 under a new name. While we weren’t able to get even unofficial confirmation, the pieces fit together a little too nicely for me to ignore. Let’s dig through this juicy gossip for nuggets of truth.

Where did this information come from?

The major energy drink brands all seem to have one social media platform where their superfans congregate. Red Bull and Monster Energy are both very big on Reddit, C4 and GHOST have substantial followings on Instagram, and Alani Nu reigns supreme on Facebook. (I assume Rockstar fans are still on Myspace or Xanga.)

Remember that piece I wrote about Alani Nu’s entire 2026 release calendar? And how that info came from a Facebook group for Alani Nu fans? This leak also came from a Facebook group for Alani Nu fans! Earlier this week, an anonymous account posted a blurry image of “Alani Nu Pink Lemonade” claiming a rebranded release of 2023’s Kimade formula would hit shelves in June 2026.

Can we really trust Facebook anymore?

I spend a lot of time digging through AI slop; this leaked image had none of the telltale signs I see in even the most convincing fake Alani Nu renders. (For some reason, Alani Nu and Dr Pepper are the two brands most prone to having trolls fake new flavors for clicks.) Additionally, AI “content” is usually more exciting. Pink lemonade is nothing groundbreaking; the six-fingered fakes tend to feature ridiculous flavors to inspire WTF-heavy comments.

Is there anything behind this story besides one anonymous image?

In my coverage of Alani Nu’s 2026 calendar, I mentioned that Cotton Candy was pictured in both the permanent lineup and the limited-time section—weird, right? I left out a detail I didn’t think anything of at the time: The limited-time Cotton Candy had a big “FPO” slapped over it. In this context, FPO means For Placement Only. If I were Alani Nu, I would definitely want my distributors and representatives to know when a new flavor is launching, even if I didn’t want them to know exactly what that flavor is just yet. The kicker? The FPO Cotton Candy has a release date of mid-June.

I wouldn’t bet on this just yet, but I’ll be keeping my nose to the ground for more details to update this one way or the other ASAP.
