Monster Energy never stops cooking. This month a fan-favorite flavor returns to Kroger stores and next month four new Monster flavors hit shelves nationally. (Read my coverage of all those drinks here.) While most companies would rest on their laurels after doing all that, Monster isn’t most companies. They’re already loading up 2026 with new releases.
I got a sneak peek at the first few months of Monster Energy’s 2026 calendar. Assuming plans stay the course, we’re getting another new Monster Juice flavor and two new Monster drinks that look to be carving out their own new subline. Let’s get into the three new Monster drinks launching early next year.
What’s the new Monster Juice flavor?
Next year, we’ll see the debut of Monster Voodoo Grape Juice. The Monster Juice line is known for having a little more caffeine than the Ultra line—and a lot more sugar. (Check out my review of the last new Monster Juice flavor.) I’m surprised it took this long for Monster to launch a grape juice-ish energy drink. Here’s hoping it can placate the super-sugared side of the energy drink audience when it hits shelves in February 2026.
And what’s the new Monster subline?
Based on everything I’ve seen and everyone I’ve talked to, I can confidently state that 2026 will see the debut of Monster Energy… with strawberry. Yes, Monster is launching cans of classic Monster Energy and Monster Energy Zero Sugar with added strawberry flavoring. Monster Energy certainly has a unique, battery acid-esque flavor to it. Will adding strawberry flavoring improve that? We’ll all find out next year when Monster Energy Strawberry Shot hits shelves in January 2026.
Are there any new Monster Ultra flavors coming down the line?
As mentioned in my earlier piece, we’ll see a new passion fruit-flavored Monster Ultra energy drink hit shelves in October of 2025. Monster’s 2026 calendar also alludes to a new Ultra flavor hitting shelves in March. The flavor is far enough out that there’s no image attached to the calendar entry! It’s a little early to reveal the specificities, but it looks like that flavor will throw a mean punch.
