Applebee’s has been having a busy year. Since the early months of 2026, it’s been pumping out new menu items and reviving all-you-can-eat promos at what feels like the speed of light, and it’s carried that brisk spirit into the summer months with the return of the Dollarita. Those $1 margs are still available until the end of July, just FYI – so if you haven’t had your fill of them yet, get yourself down there and drink to your wallet’s content.

But you’ll probably need some food to soak them up, right? Something ample? Something a little on the heavier side, but not too much as to weigh you down? Something that combines three different cuisines, maybe? Well, Applebee’s has got you. It’s got a new appetizer, and it’s making us dizzy.
Applebee’s Bacon Cheeseburger Wonton Tacos
In a press release published yesterday, Applebee’s announced the debut of its new Bacon Cheeseburger Wonton Tacos – and we’re gonna be honest, this sounds like a lot. The Bacon Cheeseburger Wonton Tacos are a mash-up of Applebee’s tacos and cheeseburgers, and by our count, mix American, Mexican, and Chinese cuisine in a pretty busy move (although the flavors of the latter aren’t featured as heavily).
Applebee’s says that the wonton tacos “[pack] bold American comfort in every bite: seasoned ground beef, melted Cheddar, Applewood-smoked bacon, pickles and a drizzle of spicy honey mustard.” This new app is available on its 2 for $25 value menu, so you can pair it with two entrées and make it an event.
And About That Menu…
You read our minds! We’ve got something to say about it! Applebee’s also announced that it was expanding its 2 for $25 value menu for a limited time, giving you a couple more entrée choices. Now, you can order its O-M-Cheese Burger, Fiesta Lime Chicken, or California Grilled Chicken Salad, and they’ll be part of the deal.
And – and! – Applebee’s is also introducing two new margaritas. Like I said, this place has been busy! There are two new $10 Don Julio Margaritas – a Backflippin’ Blue Margarita made with tequila, Malibu rum, blue curaçao, passion fruit, pineapple, cherry and lime, and a Prickly Plunge Margarita made with tequila, Smirnoff Vodka, triple sec, prickly pear and lime. There’s also the Bacardi Blushing Dragon, a $6 cocktail made with Bacardi rum, dragon fruit, premium lemon sour and lemonade.
Let it never be said that Applebee’s doesn’t keep things fresh, folks. The Bacon Cheeseburger Wonton Tacos are available until August 16, so try them while you can if they sound like your thing. Why go for different foods from around the world when you can have them all in one bite? That’s the Applebee’s philosophy, anyway.
