Applebee’s: We see the hustle, and we respect it. The restaurant chain has spent much of 2026 in an innovative mindset, by which I mean that it’s been offering new menu items and deals nearly constantly. 2026 was the year its Bacon Cheeseburger Wonton Tacos met customers (and mouths); the year its O-M-Cheese-adilla Burger caused me to wear out the hyphen button on my keyboard as I wrote about it; the year of new Halloween mocktails, one of which is topped with Oreos. You can call this place a lot of things, but you can’t call it lazy.

Case in point? It dropped not one, but two separate press releases yesterday, announcing its new Halloween deal and the return of a fan fave. Let’s get to it!
Applebee’s Hallowings Bucket
First off, let’s talk about its new Hallowings Bucket, a Halloween (duh) deal running from October 25 through 31. This new deal gives customers 20 boneless wings for just $12.99, in a flavor of their choice – you can choose from Classic Buffalo, Extra Hot Buffalo, Honey BBQ, Sweet Asian Chile, Garlic Parmesan, and Hot Honey Glaze. You’ll also get either a Bleu cheese or buttermilk ranch dressing on the side.
The Hallowings Bucket is only available on delivery and to-go orders, so it’s perfect for any Halloween parties you might be hosting. You don’t need a specific code for this one, either: It’ll be discounted straight away. As wing deals go, this one isn’t bad; it actually rivals the one running at Long John Silver’s, where you can get three wings for $1.99, which felt like an absolute steal to us when we were talking about it a couple of weeks back.
The Sizzlin’ Skillet Returns
And now…the comeback of a star! A star in sizzling (sorry, sizzlin’) form! Applebee’s is bringing back its Sizzlin’ Skillets for a limited time, for dine-in, to go, or delivery orders. These dishes start at just $12.99, and there are a couple of new options on offer: Its Cheesy Chicken Skillet combines grilled chicken breast with a parmesan and white cheddar cream sauce, bacon, and crispy onions, while its Chicken & Shrimp Scampi Skillet starts with the same chicken, but pairs it with sautéed shrimp in a garlic lemon butter sauce. Both are served with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. You can also grab a Garlic Sirloin Skillet, or opt for Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp or Bourbon Street Steak in skillet format.
Well, hey, Applebee’s: We’re impressed! There’s enough here to keep most people happy — unless you don’t eat meat, in which case, you might want to hop somewhere else for your Halloween deals — and nothing feels overly expensive. A salve in these ever-more expensive times, huh?
