If you’ve been running on fumes these last couple of weeks (the holidays will do that to ya), it’s time to mosey on over to your nearest convenience store and snag these bad boys out of the beverage fridge. These were the top two best brand new energy drinks we tried this year. They will carry you into 2026, we promise.

- Celsius Pink Lemonade Fizz-Free Energy
-
Now that’s a lemonade-flavored energy drink. Maybe not pink lemonade specifically, but we won’t be sticklers about that. “This tastes like homemade lemonade, almost to a fault,” said Sporked writer Griffin Parker. It’s incredibly, poignantly tart—a great option for anyone who finds the average energy drink a tad heavy on the artificial sweetener. And hey: we always love to see a fizz-free energy drink shine. Contrary to popular belief, not everyone is a fizz freak, and we want to represent every palate in our recommendations. Job well done, Celsius.

- Alani Nu Sherbet Swirl
-
Oh, the elusive Alani Nu Sherbet Swirl. I say elusive because, good lord, this flavor is hard to find on shelves. She knows we want her, and she’s playing hard to get. Every sip is a literal spoonful of rainbow sherbet. You can taste the individual colors—orange, raspberry, lime. And for all my griping about how hard this flavor is to spot, it is out there. So if you see it, do yourself a favor and grab it! We’ve tried so many incredible new energy drink flavors this year, and the fact that this is the best speaks very highly of it. Alani, we’re proud of you, kid.
