Keto granola doesn’t have to just be a bag of nuts. You can get keto friendly granola with actual chunks and delightful textures. And keto granola doesn’t have to taste only like artificial sweetener. It can taste like baking spices or chocolate or vanilla or fruit.
That said, most keto granola is bad. How do I know? I tasted nine bags of low carb granola in search of the good stuff.
Much like in our search for the best granola (regular style), I was looking for clusters of crunchy goodies, a balance of salty and sweet flavors, and a certain je ne sais quoi that keeps you reaching for handful after handful. And, since this was a keto granola taste test, I also looked for brands with low net carbs.
Here’s the best granola for keto diet followers.

- Nutrail Blueberry Cinnamon (2g net carbs)
-
If you are looking for a keto diet granola to sprinkle onto your keto diet yogurt, then this is the one to pick. It’s much looser than the other granolas on this list, making it easy to stir into some creamy ‘gurt. But don’t worry, you still get some chunks of pecan and almond, along with sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. It’s really light and crunchy and butter, with little dried blueberries for occasional bright and tangy bites. And it’s pretty light on the cinnamon, too, which I think is a good thing. Cinnamon can overwhelm other flavors really easily. My one quibble is the cooling effect of the erythritol. I don’t love it. But if you’re a long-time keto follower, you’re probably used to it by now.

- Kiss my Keto Granola Peanut Butter Chocolate (3g net carbs)
-
This low carb granola actually tastes like chocolate and peanut butter! It seems like a low bar, but you’d be amazed how many products fail to taste like what the packaging says they taste like. Made with coconut, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds, pecans, peanuts, cocoa nibs, and peanut butter, it’s super salty and a little bit sweet and really satisfying, thanks to all those seeds. Plus, you do actually get some big chunks. It’s sweetened with allulose, erythritol, stevia, and monk fruit, but the artificial sweetener aftertaste is fairly negligible. If you’re a PB and chocolate fan, this is definitely the best keto granola for you.

- Purely Elizabeth Grain Free Vanilla Almond Butter Nut Granola (4g sugar)
-
Purely Elizabeth makes my personal favorite regular granola, and they also make the best keto granola, hands down. It’s the closest to the non-keto stuff you buy, with lots of crunchy granola chunks and the perfect balance of sweet and salty. It packs minimal ingredients—mostly only the stuff you would use to make granola at home like pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, cashews, almonds, coconut flakes, almond butter, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and chia seeds. Of course, there’s also the organic medium-chain triglyceride oil from coconuts, which most of us don’t stock in our pantry, but that’s really the only ingredient that stands out. This keto friendly granola is super cozy and complex—it tastes like fall and it’s much more than a collection of nuts and seeds. While the packaging doesn’t advertise the net carbs, this is a keto certified product (it’s also gluten free and paleo). So you can feel good about scarfing down a few handfuls.
