Do We Love Bloom Strawberry Rose? Our Honest Review

Fresh off winning one of my “Top Energy Drinks of 2025” awards (which I’m told the brand was genuinely honored to receive) for their Glacier Crush flavor, one of our favorite upstart energy drink brands is back with a brand new flavor. Yes, Bloom Nutrition is here to energize your Valentine’s Day season with a shot from Cupid’s bow in energy drink form. We got our hands on Bloom Strawberry Rose Sparkling Energy; let’s see if we fall in love.

Bloom Strawberry Rose Sparkling Energy

Pros: If you’re a die-hard fan of strawberry and floral flavors, this will be your new favorite Bloom energy drink. One of my taste-testers said this reminds them of strawberry conversation hearts, and I can see where they’re coming from.

Cons: At first glance, you might think Bloom Strawberry Rose is just a strawberry energy drink. There’s no rose imagery on the can—just a strawberry surrounded by kiss marks and a cute “To: / From:” spot to write your name like an elementary school Valentine’s card. (I’ll say it now: this is the most giftable energy drink in history.)

Despite the lack of rose in the can design, there’s definitely a floral note to this drink that I didn’t fall in love with. It turns out, a smidge of rose combined with Bloom’s very “real” strawberry flavor creates… unripe strawberry. Green apple is so old school; we’ve got green strawberry energy drinks now.

What’s coming next from Bloom Nutrition?

Bloom just doesn’t stop. A few weeks ago, a creamy “Root Beer Float” addition to the prebiotic Bloom Pop line started to hit shelves. (Should I review it? Let me know in the comments.) This summer, we’ll see limited-edition extensions to both Bloom beverage brands. The strawberry limoncello-inspired “Summer Splash” energy drink will hit shelves alongside a Firecracker popsicle-inspired “Rocket Blast” Bloom Pop soda. I got the chance to sample both drinks at a convenience store expo last year; you know I’ll be covering both in detail here on Sporked once the retail-ready samples come in. (Spoilers: I absolutely loved Rocket Blast.)
