Elote-Flavored Almonds Are Among Blue Diamond’s Bangin’ New Lineup

This summer is about to get nuts. Because Blue Diamond just released four new flavors of almonds, and they all sound like absolute bangers. These zesty, outside-the-box new flavors are (drum roll): Elote (Mexican street corn), and Korean BBQ. There are also two new flavors off their mashup line: Cinnamon/Maple, and Dark Chocolate/Chili Pepper.

The Elote almonds “deliver the taste of perfectly grilled sweet corn topped with chili pepper, cheese, and lime,” while the Korean BBQ almonds “offer a smoky, sweet and spicy snack with flavors of soy, garlic, and gochujang.” YUM! I cannot wait to try both of those. As for the mashups, the flavors are pretty self-explanatory, but that doesn’t make them any less exciting. Blue Diamond seems to really know what the people want (or at least what I want), so major props to those beautifully intuitive nut manufacturers.

Blue Diamond is no stranger to making bold strides in flavor innovation. As a brand, they’ve become ubiquitous with strong and spicy almond flavors, offering up some of my personal faves: Bold Wasabi Soy Almonds, and Spicy Dill Pickle Almonds. Will Korean BBQ almonds be the latest zesty almond to steal my heart? I guess it’s time to find out. These new almond flavors will soon be more widely-available, and are currently being sold at select Walmart stores. Guess it’s time for me to head on over to my closest Walmart, because Blue Diamond is this girl’s best friend.
