This New Buzzballz Flavor Comes With Some Cheeky Merch

As a ready-to-drink beverage, Buzzballz has always had a slightly naughty side. The brand has leaned into the spherical shape and suggestive name of its product even more in recent months: To promote its World Cup-inspired Soccerballz, Buzzballz put out an ad campaign starring an older streaker, lamenting the fact that the only balls people care about these days are the drinks themselves. Like we said: It doesn’t hold back. And it kinda works.

Well, now, Buzzballz is repeating that formula of new flavor + cheeky push, with a limited-edition accessory that comes with a wink and a nod. Let’s dive in.

BuzzBallz Tropic Tang, Featuring Mental Images We Maybe Didn’t Need

BuzzBallz announced yesterday that it was releasing its new Tropic Tang flavor in tandem with a very limited-edition merch drop (which, if we’re being totally honest, is fully designed to promote the drink, as opposed to being worn by anyone – and you’ll see why). The brand is dropping “Twangy Chapz,” pairs of chaps which it says in its press release are “orange faux suede with matching fringe and yellow accents, a handcrafted pop-tab belt buckle, and built-in side saddles capable of holding up to six Tropic Tang BuzzBallz.”

The chaps, in case you were wondering, have no back and are cut out around the groin area – and there, BuzzBallz says, you can also wear its matching boxers, emblazoned with the phrase “You’ll Love These Tangy Ballz.” Like we said: You’re probably not going to be wearing these in public any time soon. Well, unless that’s your thing.

And how can you get your hands on these chaps, we hear you ask? Well! Starting at 12 PM Eastern Time on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, BuzzBallz will be running a contest via its official Instagram. Follow @BuzzBallz, like the contest post, and comment with an alter ego name that feels suitable for the chaps (or chapz). BuzzBallz suggests thinking along the lines of “The Citrus Sheriff,” “Tang Wrangler,” or “Beachside Bandit,” but we’ll leave you to make up your own mind. Submissions close at 5 PM Eastern Time on Friday, July 24, and the winners will find out on Monday, July 27 if they’ve been awarded one of the 34 pairs of chaps. You have to be 21 or over to enter.
