C4’s Latest Rumored Collab Is A Cereal Mashup

C4 never – and I mean never – fails to keep us intrigued. The energy drink company is constantly playing with something new in its drinks lineup, and new flavors come thick and fast, to the delight of all. Over the summer, we got a trio of new flavors, one of which, its Cherry Cola, was a smash hit. These added to an already impressive lineup of options, and that’s to say nothing of its protein powder and new sparkling protein drinks. In short: Lot going on.

There could be even more happening behind closed doors, though. We’ve just caught wind of a potential new flavor coming, which may – and we’re keen to stress, may – take inspiration from a breakfast favorite. Let’s discuss.

C4 Jacked Apple Crunch: A New Flavor?

This week, the drinks and supplement-focused Instagram account @suppwire stated that it had caught wind of a rumor that C4 was planning to release a Jacked Apple Crunch flavor, which may be inspired by Apple Jacks. There’s no concrete information to suggest that this will be a bona fide collab with the cereal brand – and, crucially, there’s no official confirmation that this flavor will even exist. As yet, it’s all speculative.

If it did, though, we have strong reason to believe that it would be a winner, given the success of C4’s other cereal-inflected drinks. In 2025, it released Cereal Killer, which took its lead from nostalgic cereals like Fruit Loops, as well as a vanilla note that emulated the taste of cereal milk. Customers loved it; they still love it. So should Jacked Apple Crunch come to pass, C4 will be wielding its knowledge in more apple-y ways. I, personally, am very ready for it: Anything that takes us away from that tangy, cloying flavor that energy drink producers decided would define the form for decades (not pointing any fingers, but we know who I’m talking about here) is a good thing. 

Some Rise, Others Fall

It’s always nice to speculate on potential new energy drink options, especially as 2027 will see a slight slimming down of them in other places. Monster Energy is discontinuing four flavors from several of its sublines in the new year, including Monster Ultra Fantasy Ruby Red, Juice Monster Rio Punch, and Rehab Monster Green Tea. Monster has plenty of other options for people to choose from, so its customers aren’t exactly going to want for choices — but pour one out for those guys.
