The freebies are a-flowing. Well, at Chick-fil-A, they are. Ever since the restaurant dubbed 2026 the year of “Newstalgia,” it’s been building up to the return of one old tradition that it decided to bring back this year: Cow Appreciation Day. This week, it’s been doing that by giving out free fries (well, they’re free if you download its app and partake in a game) – and next Monday, July 14, it’s upping the ante by giving out free entrées.

But only if you play the part. That part is…a cow. Here’s the lowdown.
Moooooo!
We previously touched on Cow Appreciation Day and the…let’s call it a “barrier for entry” for free food next Monday. But now that we’re a bit closer to the time and know more accurately what free food you can get, we thought it was worth a revisit. Consider this a primer to all your cow-related activity on July 14.
So, here’s the deal: Next Monday, you simply have to show up at Chick-fil-A in a cow-inspired outfit and, if you do so from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., you can get a free entrée. We say “simply,” but you obviously have to source your cow-themed clothing first. This is your three-day warning to dig out the cowprint trousers that felt like such a good purchase five years ago.
As for what free entrées Chick-fil-A is giving out, it’s the following:
- Breakfast: Rock up before 10:30 a.m., and you can get an original Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit or a four-count of Chick-n-Minis.
- Lunch/ or Dinner: Up until 7:00 p.m., you can grab an Original or Spicy Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, an eight-count of Original or Grilled Nuggets, or a three-count of Chick-n-Strips.
And, if your kids want to get in on the fun, they can get a five-count Nuggets Kids’ Meal, in Original or Grilled – and they get a side and a drink, too.
And Are There Any Terms & Conditions?
Oh, you bet there are! The main thing to note is that this is a physical offer: You can get your food to-go or through the drive-thru, but it won’t be applicable for digital ordering. You also can’t combine it with other Chick-fil-A offers. Having said this, though, you don’t have to buy anything to get it – so if your Chick-fil-A is taking part in Cow Appreciation Day, and you happen to have that cow onesie to hand on Monday…you know what to do.
