Most coffee cups fit nicely in a car’s cupholder. But that’s not exactly the case for Dunkin’s giant Beverage Bucket. But then again, that little problem didn’t stop fans from falling in love with the 48-ounce drink when it launched earlier this year.

The oversized bucket quickly went viral, filling TikTok and Instagram with videos of people proudly carrying around what looked more like a beach bucket than a coffee cup. Now it’s making a comeback and Dunkin’ has added one small upgrade that might make the giant drink even better.
Iced Beverage Buckets Are Back
Dunkin’ first tested the Iced Beverage Buckets earlier this year at a handful of locations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The response was much bigger than anyone expected.
The excitement led to a nationwide launch in May, when participating stores received a limited number of buckets. Many locations reportedly had only around 25 available, making them a hot collectible that sold out quickly.
Now Dunkin’ is giving fans another chance to grab one before summer comes to an end.
What’s Inside The Bucket?
The Beverage Bucket holds a whopping 48oz and can be filled with either Dunkin’ iced coffee or one of the chain’s Refreshers. Customers can customize their drink just like any other Dunkin’ order, choosing flavors, sweeteners, milk options, and other add-ins.
Dunkin’ is also showing off some of its newest drinks as perfect bucket fillers. That includes the fruity Black Cherry Protein Refresher, the bright Pink Pineapple Sparkling Refresher, and the Iced Coffee with Peanut Butter Swirl.
The Beverage Bucket costs $12.99 and that price includes the drink inside. Since the bucket is reusable, fans can keep bringing it back for future coffee runs or simply hold onto it as a fun collectible.
The New Bucket Holder Might Be The Best Part
As fun as the Beverage Bucket was, it came with one obvious issue, which Dunkin’ acknowledged. It was way too big to fit in a car’s cupholder. Instead of pretending that wasn’t a problem, Dunkin’ leaned into it. The company created a Bucket Holder that sits inside a standard vehicle cupholder and keeps the oversized drink in place.
The Bucket Holder won’t be sold in stores, though. It’s a special reward for Dunkin’ Rewards members with Boosted Status, who can claim one online while supplies last.
This Might Be Another Fast Sellout
Bringing back the Iced Beverage Buckets for another round makes plenty of sense. Adding a cupholder feels like the brand is actually listening to its customers.
And if the fans’ reaction on social media is anything to go by, the Iced Beverage Buckets and Bucket Holder will be sold out faster than you can imagine.
