Then it’s topped with grilled onions, extra burger sauce, and pickles. This method of cooking imbues the burger with a funky, sour flavor, which offsets the beefy notes perfectly. It also adds some all-important moisture to the burger, which can make it a little sloppy, but hey, that’s what eating like an animal’s all about.
