Hardee’s New Hot Honey Menu Is Changing The Game

The hot honey items…they just don’t stop! There’s absolutely no let-up whatsoever on foods containing the condiment of the moment, and the last month or so has seen a veritable parade of them. Pillsbury’s just collaborated with Mike’s Hot Honey on new biscuits, The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce has just dropped a hot honey of its own, and Whataburger announced a chicken sandwich featuring…oh, come on, we all know what it has.

Whataburger’s not the only restaurant amping up its hot honey game, though. Hardee’s is doing it too – and it’s taking it a step further than the others, with a platform. Yep. A PLATFORM. Let’s dig in. 

Hardee’s Hot Honey Menu

Hardee’s has just dropped the news that it’s debuting what it deems a “Hot Honey platform” in its press release, which features a bunch of new items that all contain the condiment. The new items are:

• Hot Honey Hand-Breaded Chicken Biscuit: A piece of hand-breaded chicken with hot honey sauce, sandwiched into a Made from Scratch biscuit.
• Hot Honey Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich: The same hand-breaded vibe shows up in a sandwich here, with crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, and hot honey sauce, in a brioche bun. 
• Hot Honey Tenders: Hand-breaded chicken tenders topped with hot honey sauce. If you have the Hardee’s app, you can get these for $3.99. 

It’s Hand-Breaded Chicken Biscuit also comes in at just $3.99, too. Hardee’s’ new hot honey menu/platform is available now until September 8. 

And What About The Drinks?

Hey, how did you know about the drinks? Okay: Alongside the announcement of its new hot honey menu, Hardee’s has also revealed that it’s debuting a Tropical Twister beverage lineup, which feels primed for summer. You can pick from a Tropical Twister Tea, a Tropical Twister Lemonade, or a Tropical Twister Hand-Scooped Milkshake. These all have passionfruit, pineapple, and mango flavors, and are made without any artificial colors or flavors. To be honest, the milkshake version sounds like it could err on the side of a pina colada, and I’m very, veerrrrry into that kinda thing.

Busy week for Hardee’s, huh? First, it says it wants to pay for your breakfast; now, it says it wants to dominate the hot honey world. Well, it didn’t say that; we just inferred it. But when it’s making moves as bold as these, how could we not? Get your hot honey menu items now.
