HI-CHEW’s Halloween Mix Will Keep You Guessing

It’s been a week of mystery flavors. Yesterday, we were discussing how White Mystery AirHeads are being turned into an energy drink, courtesy of RYSE. The day before that, we were talking about how SunnyD is getting in on the Halloween mystery flavor fun with a new spooky option of its own. And now, to round it all off and see us into the weekend, HI-CHEW’s doing the same. The candy brand has just dropped the news that its Halloween Mystery Mix is making a comeback, just in time for the season to really ramp up.

It’s got a new lineup this time around, though. Let’s dig in. 

HI-CHEW Halloween Mystery Mix

Yesterday, HI-CHEW announced the return of its Halloween Mystery Mix, following a successful run last year. 2025’s Halloween Mystery Mix contained Watermelon, Blue Raspberry, and Candy Apple chews, alongside a mystery flavor that was eventually revealed to be Cherry Lemonade on October 31. HI-CHEW’s using the same model this year, but the flavors have been mixed up: We’re now getting Green Apple, Orange Creamsicle, and Cotton Candy, plus, of course, a white mystery chew.

In its press release, HI-CHEW says that the latter is a “never-before-revealed” flavor, so we can expect something completely new there. HI-CHEW has clearly been loving the response that its 2025 mystery flavor got of late: Earlier this year, we got its Easter mystery flavor. And there’s method behind all of this. “Today’s consumers are looking for more than just flavor innovation. They want fun, engaging snacking experiences that spark curiosity and excitement,” said Teruhiro Kawabe (Terry), Morinaga America, Inc.’s president & CEO and chief representative for the USA. It’s all about interactivity, right? HI-CHEW also took a detour into the dirty soda game a few months back, so it’s clearly been having a fun 12 months.

Just Give Me The Details Of Where I Can Get Them…

I will do just that. HI-CHEW Halloween Mystery Mix will be available at major retailers, including Kroger, Target, and Albertsons, in 5.6 oz and 11.6 oz pouches. They will, of course, be around until Halloween, so you’ve got time to fill up those trick-or-treat buckets. And if you want to engage in aforementioned interactivity, you can take part in its flavor-guessing challenge, which will launch on September 15.
