Fallout fans, you’re likely already familiar with the Bethesda and Jones Soda collaboration. After all, Jones Soda has been releasing spins on the game’s famous Nuka-Cola for some time now, with a total of six flavor releases so far. And this year, there’s a particularly unique one coming: a Fallout-inspired soda that’s brand-new and given a flavor chosen by fand themselves.

Jones Soda is putting the power in players’ (and soda sippers’) hands. The next Nuka-Cola slated for release is Nuka Twist, and you get to vote on what that soda will taste like.
It’s all part of Bethesda’s Fallout Day celebrations, which have included multiple giveaways to celebrate OCtober 23, a brand-new social media account for Fallout 76, and the news about Nuka Twist itself. The soda will be fictional, yes, but Jones Soda is also bringing it to life with a little help from Bethesda and its community of gamers.
Nuka Twist Will Take Shape in One of Three Flavors
Nuka Twist will join the rest of the Nuka-Cola lineup released by Jones Soda previously in both single flavors and variety packs found at retailers like Costco. But until you vote on its flavor, it’s still a bit of an unknown.
Jones Soda launched Project T.W.I.S.T. online and gave Fallout fans three flavor choices to choose from: Pink Bubblegum, Watermelon Dragonfruit, and Strawberry Lemonade.
While all three of these flavors seem new at first glance, two of them will be familiar to Jones Soda drinkers. Strawberry Lemonade overlaps with the existing Berry Lemonade flavor on store shelves, while Pink Bubblegum is a different-hued spin on Jones Soda’s Blue Bubblegum flavor. That leaves Watermelon Dragonfruit as the sole “new” candidate on the ballot.
Wondering which of these three picks would be closest to the Nuka Twist in Fallout? Well, the in-game beverage doesn’t officially have a set flavor; it’s actually random, and each drink leads to a different result. So, no matter what you’ve been imagining Nuka Twist to taste like, it technically could be absolutely anything.
How to Cast Your Vote for the Next Nuka-Cola Flavor
If you’re ready to decide the fate (well, flavor) of Nuka Twist and make Fallout history by contributing to a soda flavor that’ll be officially canonized by Bethesda, then you’ll want to head online and cast your vote.
You can visit the Project T.W.I.S.T. voting page on the Jones Soda website to do so. Here, you’ll enter your information and choose your pick of the three available options.
Voting officially opened on October 21, and it will close Saturday, October 31.
From there, Nuka Cola Twist will officially have a flavor — and it’ll be one you can purchase and taste outside of the Fallout game series. The winning flavor will be released by Jones Soda, although that future release date is still to be determined. And it’s possible that the winning Nuka Twist could also show up in the games in the future. You’ll have to cast your vote and carve out some gaming time to find out.
