KallMeKris’ Favorite Canadian Snack and Where to Find it in the U.S.

KallMeKris (aka Kris Collins) is a content creator and personality that you have no doubt seen on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube. While she’s known for her funny and relatable content, she’s also a major snack lover.

I had the opportunity to talk with Kris at VidCon and found out about her snacking preferences. In her opinion, there’s one treat that reigns supreme. Can you guess what it is? I’ll give you a hint: She’s Canadian.

Kris absolutely loves all dressed potato chips. “Nobody actually knows what all dressed is,” she says. “It’s just everything you want in a chip.” She’s not wrong! I don’t think many people could tell you what “all dressed” means. According to Wikipedia (and my general understanding), the all dressed flavor is a mix of “ketchup, barbecue sauce, sour cream and onion, and salt and vinegar.” Yum! Who doesn’t love a big hodge-podge of flavor?

Kris pointed out that we don’t have all dressed chips here in America and that’s sort of true. Most stores don’t sell all dressed chips in most parts of America. If you’re lucky enough to live in the Northeast near Canada, you have better odds of finding the chips in your local store. If you live elsewhere in the U.S., here are three ways you can get your own bag of all dressed chips.

Amazon

The obvious first option is Amazon. What I want to point out, though, is how prolific the selection of all dressed chips is on Amazon. You can buy a pack of all the Canadian Ruffles chips, which includes all dressed along with ketchup, Bar-B-Q, and Sour Cream ‘N Bacon (Creme Sure et Bacon, en Francais). You can buy multi-packs of the all dressed Old Dutch chips—it’s an 80-year-old Canadian chip company. You can even drop a pretty penny and get a variety pack of all dressed chips from a bunch of different brands shipped straight from Canada.

Walmart

Walmart.com will ship all dressed chips directly to your house! The price is obviously not as low as it would be if you bought them in the store (we’re talking, like, $14 a bag), but it’s also cheaper than a plane ticket to Toronto! You can find brands like Old Dutch as well as the charmingly branded Humpty Dumpty.

Aldi

Aldi is now selling their own brand of all dressed chips! How exciting is that?! Can you tell I’m excited by the amount of exclamation points I’m using!!!! They’re so cheap and readily available! Yay!!!
