If you’ve somehow forgotten that Avengers: Doomsday is coming out at the end of the year, I envy you. Because I haven’t. I have absolutely no relationship with Marvel movies, and I can’t see that changing any time soon – but my knowledge of the new Avengers’ release schedule is now very broad, thanks to the fact that restaurants left, right, and center are lining up to drop their superhero-themed collabs. So far, Jack In The Box and Dunkin’ have set out their stalls with Doomsday-themed menus, and there will be more. That I can promise you with some certainty.

KFC has just become the latest restaurant to release a Marvel-inspired menu. And this one might trump the rest with its sheer size. There’s just one problem: It’s not coming out in the US. This one’s international, baby.
KFC’s Doomified Menu
This week, KFC has announced its collaboration with Marvel and the release of its “Doomified” menu. According to its press release, this is “KFC’s most expansive joint venture to date,” and it’s definitely putting its money where its mouth is: This new suite of menu items, which celebrates Marvel’s “biggest, baddest character,” will be released in 100 countries across the globe. This collab has some serious scope – although KFC does point out that offerings may vary from market to market. And – again – this won’t be in the United States. More on that later.
Regardless, from November 9 and through January 2027, KFC is leaning hard into the Doomsday vibes – and amongst the menu items it’ll be offering are:
- Doom Burger: A sandwich with KFC Original Recipe chicken, lettuce, sliced pickles, cheese, and then Doom Cola sauce (huh?), Smoky Green Mayo (hmm), and a black sesame seed bun (sure).
- Doom Dripped Wings: Hot wings coated in Doom Cola sauce.
- Doom Bucket: Your standard KFC bucket here, but served with Doctor Doom-inspired dipping sauces and something called Doom Dust… we’ll get to that.
- Doom Loaded Fries: Signature seasoned fries with Smoky Green Mayo and Doom Cola sauce available covered in Smoky Green Mayo and Doom Cola sauce, which customers can get with or without popcorn chicken.
- Doom Shake: A vanilla milkshake with chocolate, peppermint, or Green Apple sauce, topped with a chocolate cookie crumb.
- Doom Supreme Fizz: Sparkling lemonade, green or kiwi apple syrup, and boba pearls. Think green and black – just like the rest of these items.
- Masked Mozza Melts: Mozzarella sticks, which come with either Smoky Green Mayo or Doom Cola sauce, and are topped with Doom Dust.
Doom Dust? Doom Cola Sauce? What’s Going On?
Yes – expect these to be the flavors of the month, quite literally, at KFC, as it’s clearly going hard on these two new items. Doom Cola Sauce is, it seems, essentially a cola-based BBQ sauce, while Doom Dust is a “vibrant green seasoning” which brings lime and chilli flavors to the fore. Now that I’ve broken down their flavors, they sound pretty good, don’t they?! They do to me, at least. But it’s the names. The names might be their downfall.
And Why Isn’t This Coming Out In The US?
That much is unclear – but Allrecipes has speculated that it could be down to rights. As I mentioned above, Jack In The Box is bringing out its own Marvel menu items, and it holds exclusive rights for its Doomsday Dipping Box. But given that Dunkin’ is serving Doomsday-themed food in its collab, I’m a little flummoxed by this one.
