Summer is drawing ever nearer with each passing day (it’s June next week! It’s basically here!), and that means two things: That some of the biggest movies of the year are about to come out, and that those movies will be accompanied by some choice food collaborations. A tale as old as time, some might say. So far, we’ve seen Toy Story 5 collaborate with Papa Johns and Masters Of The Universe team up with Krispy Kreme – and now, KFC and Supergirl are joining forces.

This film-focused food release isn’t just limited to one or two items, though. KFC’s gone all out with its menu and merch. Let’s check out what’s in store.
What’s On The New KFC x Supergirl Menu?
News of the collaboration between the superhero franchise and the chicken chain leaked last weekend, and now, Parade has confirmed that it’s going ahead. The limited-time menu features a bunch of new drinks and sauces, which can also be ordered as part of two new meals.
First, though, the menu items. Its new Bright Bubbly Kryptonian Cooler is a Starry-based drink, mixed with raspberry syrup and strawberry popping boba. On the sauce front, there are three to choose from: Supergirl’s Solar Honey Mustard, Ruthye’s Sweet Chili Revenge, and Lobo’s Wild Ranch. If we’re being totally honest, these do all seem like they’re fairly standard honey mustard, sweet chili, and ranch sauces, which have just been given Supergirl naming and livery – but hey, we won’t say no to new stuff.
These drinks and sauces can be ordered in the new Supergirl Ultimate Meal, which comes with three chicken tenders or eight chicken nuggets, two sides, a biscuit, all the sauces, and the limited-time drink. Or you can opt for the Supergirl Combo, which gives you the same chicken options and sauces, a fountain drink, a biscuit, and one side.
You Mentioned Merch…
I did indeed, and I’ll deliver. KFC is also bringing out a bunch of collectibles as part of this menu, one of which is a super-limited-edition, reusable bucket, with Supergirl artwork and a Puppy Krypto-themed lid. And, if that wasn’t enough, you also have the chance to grab one of five collectible character keychains with the Supergirl Ultimate Meal.
KFC has clearly invested in this collaboration, and its expansiveness does feel like it’s in line with how other chains are approaching their movie tie-ins. A couple of months ago, we saw McDonald’s release a new KPop Demon Hunters menu, which had a bunch of new items (and which was, pleasingly, for adults). Hey, the people want more these days. As for the KFC and Supergirl collab, you can grab it from Monday, June 8, with the collectible buckets dropping two days later.
