Want A Dozen Free Donuts? Krispy Kreme’s Got You Covered

If I suggested to anyone who worked at Krispy Kreme that they might have had a quiet October, they’d probably look me dead in the eye and laugh for ten minutes straight. And that’s because this place has been nonstop, people. Over the last month, the doughnut chain has kept up an utterly relentless pace. It announced its new Looney Tunes Halloween collaboration. It then extended that collaboration, not once, but twice, dropping new doughnuts left, right, and center. Surely, now that we’re three days out from Halloween, it’s done?

Nope. It’s got a couple more tricks up its sleeve. The good news for you, though, is that it could mean you get free doughnuts. 

All Jacked Up Dozen

This week, Krispy Kreme announced a new round of doughnuts – yes, another one – in the form of its All Jacked Up Dozen. Available for $13 today and tomorrow, its flagship feature is its new Jack’s Original Glazed Doughnuts, which are essentially its Original Glazed doughnuts with an orange tinge. Kripsy Kreme hasn’t altered the flavor here, in case you were worried it’d be somehow citrusy (or, maybe more logically, pumpkin-y). 

The All Jacked Up Dozen contains nine Jack’s Original Glazed Doughnuts, and one each of the following:

• Mummy Jack Doughnut: Starting with a Jack’s Original Glazed doughnut, this new flavor is then topped with white vanilla-flavored buttercreme icing and a green iced stem. 
• Jack O’ Doughnut: A Jack’s Original Glazed doughnut with a chocolate icing face and…a green iced stem. 
• Monster Jack Doughnut: Are we gonna go three for three on that green iced stem? You bet we are! A Jack’s Original Glazed doughnut with orange icing, chocolate cookie pieces, chocolate icing stitches, and – drumroll please – a green iced stem! 

You Mentioned Free Donuts…

I’m getting to that! This is the part that excites me about this new drop: Alongside this new Dozen, Krispy Kreme has also announced its new Jack’s Treat Dozen Pass. This Friday and Saturday, the store will be giving 10,000 guests this pass, which is a coupon valid for a free dozen Original Glazed doughnuts. The dozen can be grabbed from November 1 through November 14. 

The passes, though, are given out at random – so keep those fingers crossed! That said, if you were planning on going to Krispy Kreme this weekend anyway, perhaps to redeem the free doughnut you get if you turn up in costume on either Friday or Saturday, then much worse things could happen. I love a giveaway, even if it’s not guaranteed, and while these new doughnuts sound cool, they’re very much variations on a theme. Bring on the free stuff, I say!
