Kroger's Going All-In On Pumpkin Spice This Fall

For a second, we thought that pumpkin spice was over. By “over,” I don’t mean that it was disappearing completely – there’s no risk of that happening – but judging by the items and flavors a lot of brands have been putting out this year as part of their autumnal collections, it definitely felt like pumpkin spice was taking a back seat. We’ve had a lot of apple cider; we’ve had some twists on pumpkin spice, in the form of pumpkin chai; but full-on PSL vibes? They’ve been a little less in-your-face than previous falls.

Well, Kroger’s clearly looking to change that. The supermarket has just announced its Private Selection Pumpkin Harvest Collection, and there’s a LOT of pumpkin spice going on. And we’ve got it all here.

Drinks

Kroger’s Pumpkin Harvest Collection comes in the form of three items, each in Kroger’s drinks, snacks, and bakery sections. First, the drinks:

Private Selection Pumpkin Spice Gourmet Ground Coffee and Coffee Pods: Why make a PSL by adding pumpkin spice if it’s already in the coffee itself? That’s clearly the mindset behind this new product, which mixes coffee with pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Private Selection Pumpkin Spice Syrup: A syrup containing cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and clove flavors. No risk of grainy spices here.
Private Selection Pumpkin Spice Flavored Chai Black Tea: PSL? What about…PST? Pumpkin spice tea, not Pacific Standard Time. Black tea infused with pumpkin flavors and spices.

Snacks

Looking to make your snacks a little more pumpkin-y and spicy? Kroger’s got you with these:

Private Selection Pumpkin Popcorn: Popcorn glazed with pumpkin spice and topped with a sweet icing drizzle.
Private Selection Pumpkin Spice Cashews: Sugar-studded cashews adorned with allspice.
Private Selection Pumpkin Cheesecake Granola Clusters: Crunchy granola clusters, intended for snacking, infused with pumpkin cheesecake flavors. I know these aren’t meant for breakfast, but…just imagine a bowl of them. Delish.

Bakery

Ah, the bakery. Where pumpkin spice truly shines. Once again, three new items here:

Private Selection Gluten-Free Pumpkin Streusel Muffins: Muffins made with real pumpkin with seasonal spices mixed in, topped with streusel and sparkling sugar.
Private Selection Pumpkin Spice Blondies: Pumpkin blondie bites topped with cream cheese icing, pecans, and butterscotch chips. Some excellent flavor combos going on here.
Private Selection Pumpkin Spice Shortbread Cookies: Pumpkin spice-infused shortbread. Butter-forward, spice-forward, flavor-forward.

Available Now-Ish!

If you’re a fan of pumpkin spice flavors, you’re probably going to love these; Kroger isn’t doing anything too out-there, to its credit (we don’t need any more weird pumpkin spice foods). A quick glance at Kroger’s website today revealed that these items aren’t listed yet, but I’d imagine they’ll be rolled out imminently, so get to it.
