These Cities Can Get Free Coffee This Week

How’re we all feeling about the World Cup, guys? Are we all still into it? Are we sick of it yet? Are you tired out by the constant focus on soccer, especially ‘cos you’ve never really been into the game in the first place? If it’s the latter…you may be me. Having grown up with a soccer-obsessed father and being totally uninterested in the sport, I know what it is to suffer from what I’m fondly dubbing Football Fatigue (as a Brit, I had to use that name for it just once).

Well, if you’re experiencing the same thing, La Colombe has a treat for you. Like Dunkin’ did a few months back, it’s offering customers in select cities free coffee, for one day this week. Here are the details.

La Colombe Free Coffee

La Colombe, which is the Official Coffee Sponsor of US Soccer, has decided that everyone needs a bit of a pick-me-up this week – and so it’s throwing free coffee at ya. Yes, the World Cup has an official coffee to go with its official breakfast. Anyway! If you’re near a select La Colombe café tomorrow (Thursday, June 25), you can pick up a free ready-to-drink latte or cold brew. We’re not sure if one of these will be its s’mores latte (which we tried and, to be honest, didn’t love), but we guess we’ll find out tomorrow! These freebies are being offered in honor of the US team’s final stage match against Türkiye, taking place tomorrow.

Sounds pretty good, right? You don’t even have to make any additional purchases, too: You can just rock up and get your free drink. It is a “while supplies last” vibe, though, so we’d advise not getting there super late and hoping for your ready-to-go latte. The only catch is that you have to wear US Soccer merch while you do so. Y’know, so they know you’re a true fan.

This free coffee giveaway is one of several events that La Colombe has been holding this year, thanks to its soccer partnership. The café kicked off its World Cup celebrations with a watch party at its Fishtown location, where it featured local snacks and drinks and a performance by Philly band Snacktime (as well as a livestream of the first US match). I’m sure it’s got some other things up its sleeve, too.
