We’re in those heady post-Easter days, folks, where brands are gearing up for their summer releases, while simultaneously trying to clear out all the stock they currently have leftover from the festivities. And you know what that means? Deals! Lots of deals. Both candy producers and stores alike are trying to shift those Easter treats, with Aldi currently selling Peeps for just nine cents per box, and Lindt running a big ol’ sale of its Lindor truffles, which we presume it has an abundance of now that April’s half-done. Or maybe it’s just using them as a loss leader.

Look, we’re gonna be honest – we don’t actually know what its strategy is. What we do know is that you can save a fair bit of cash at the moment over on its website. Here’s what you can grab.
Lindor Truffles: Grab ‘Em While They’re Cheap
In the Sale section of the Lindor website, it currently has quite a few items listed, with pretty impressive markdowns. Its 75-piece bags of five-flavor Lindor truffles, in both red and gold, now cost $25.20, instead of their usual price of $42.00. Its Holiday Flavor Custom Pick and Mix Truffles, meanwhile, which come in a box and have 100 pieces of candy, is $33.00, down from $42.00.
Elsewhere, Lindt is running an impressive deal on its Everyday Medium Gift Basket, which is currently half off, costing $42.49. In each box, you get Dark Chocolate Swiss Thins, three Lindt chocolate bars, two chocolate sticks, and 25 each of milk chocolate and white chocolate truffles. Now, obviously, these items are all pretty gift-focused, and so they’d be great if you have a birthday coming up that you need to get something for – but what’s to stop you buying them yourself? What’s to stop you buying them for your own birthday? That’s a move we would heartily endorse.
Easter’s Over, People, Move On!
Lindt also has a bunch of its Easter candies listed in the Sale section, but sadly, they’re all now listed as out of stock. Its Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Carrots, Milk Chocolate Mini Hard Eggs, and boxes of its gold chocolate bunnies have all come and gone. It is worth remembering for next year, though, that these might be available immediately post-Easter (by which we mean, the Monday after), so if you’re in the market for a deal, that’ll be your time.
If you want to look ahead to Christmas, though – we know, it’s a bit early, but just go with us – Lindt is currently offering 540 pieces of its White Chocolate Peppermint Snowflakes. And they cost $189.99. Yep. That is down from $266, but…still, we’re not sure we can afford that right now.
