I’m still mentally somewhere around June 2026, but Mars has decided it’s time to start talking about 2027. And based on what I’ve heard so far, we’re going to need the extra time to process some of this.

Mars just revealed seven new snacks coming to stores nationwide next year, spanning M&M’s, Cheez-It, Pringles, Skittles, Twix, Snickers, and Combos. There are protein-packed crackers. There are Buffalo Wild Wings-flavored Pringles. There are gummy Skittles covered in crunchy crystals. Nobody can accuse Mars of easing us gently into the new year.

The new lineup is being previewed at the NACS Show in Las Vegas from October 7th through 9th, but you won’t need a convention badge to try them eventually. All seven are expected to hit shelves nationwide in 2027.

Here’s what’s coming.

M&M’s Peanut Butter Cinnamon Roll

I’m starting with the one I have the most questions about. M&M’s Peanut Butter Cinnamon Roll combines smooth peanut butter with cinnamon roll flavor inside the classic candy shell.

Peanut butter and cinnamon rolls aren’t necessarily two things I would have introduced to each other, but now that someone has, I’m intrigued. Is it mostly peanut butter with a little cinnamon? Are we getting frosting involved? I need details.

Cheez-It Protein

Yes, the protein craze has reached the Cheez-Its.

Cheez-It Protein promises the same sharp cheese flavor and crunch as the original, but with 7 grams of protein per serving. Mars hasn’t shared much else about what makes the new crackers different yet, but thankfully, Sporked has you covered with our taste test.

I’ve personally never eaten Cheez-Its and thought, “Man, I wish this could help me hit my macros,” but I’m clearly not thinking big enough.

Pringles Buffalo Wild Wings

Pringles and Buffalo Wild Wings are teaming up for not one, not two, but three new flavors based on BWW sauces: Parmesan Garlic, Medium Buffalo, and Asian Zing.

This one makes sense. They’re wing-flavored chips. My main question is why it took until 2027 for someone to give us Parmesan Garlic Pringles.

Skittles Crystals

Okay, I need someone to explain these to me.

Skittles Crystals combine soft gummies with crunchy, tangy edible crystals. They’ll come in Original and Tropical Splash varieties, which means we’re dealing with Skittles that are somehow chewy and crunchy at the same time.

But what exactly is an edible crystal? How crunchy are we talking? Nerds Gummy Clusters territory? Rocks? Mars has given me just enough information to make me desperate for more. Sporked got an early taste and needless to say, we were impressed.

Twix Frosted Cookie

Twix is doing something mildly alarming and removing the caramel.

Twix Frosted Cookie starts with the usual shortbread cookie, swaps the caramel for vanilla-flavored crème, and coats the whole thing in milk chocolate. I’m not sure how I feel about a Twix without caramel. But shortbread, vanilla crème, and milk chocolate? Okay, Mars. I’m listening.

Combos Honey Sriracha

Combos Honey Sriracha has a baked pretzel shell filled with honey sriracha-flavored filling.

After edible crystals and caramel-less Twix, this feels almost suspiciously straightforward. Sweet, spicy, salty, pretzel. I know what I’m getting and I like the sound of it. Thank you, Combos.

Snickers Almond Xtreme

And finally, Snickers Almond Xtreme.

This one combines chocolate and caramel with extra almonds for a chewy, nutty take on Snickers.

That’s it. More almonds.

After everything else on this list, I’m almost relieved.

Mars hasn’t announced exact release dates for any of these yet, only that all seven are headed to stores nationwide sometime in 2027.
