We love it when a candy company gives us a little extra. By which we mean, we love it when they take a seasonal treat and make it not so seasonal. That’s exactly what M&M’s has just done. Hot on the heels of its fan-favorite Easter flavor, White Chocolate Marshmallow Crispy Treat M&M’s, coming back for another run this year, it’s decided that said flavor can stick around for a little while longer – although this time, without the Easter branding.

Intrigued? We were too. Let’s get into it.
White Chocolate Marshmallow Crispy Treat M&M’s: Available Now!
The continued existence of White Chocolate Marshmallow Crispy Treat M&M’s was confirmed by @kdsnackfinds, who posted a picture of a bag of them in Target a couple days ago (ie, well after Easter’s been and gone).
Now, the cynics amongst you might claim that these M&M’s are just a hangover from the Easter period and leftover stock – to which we say, check out the name and the packaging. The name of the M&M’s is eeeever so slightly different here (they’re called Marshmallow Crispy M&M’s as opposed to White Chocolate Marshmallow Crispy Treat M&M’s, but we’d be very surprised if they were any different), and the packaging is different, too: It doesn’t have any of the pastel coloring that the Easter edition does.
So, what’s the vibe here? Did M&M’s just have a load of leftover ingredients that it needed to get through, and decided that it’d slightly rebrand its marshmallow candies to use them up? Or is this one step towards this flavor being a more permanent part of its lineup? Who knows, but in the meantime, let’s all enjoy these marshmallow-y bites, which first appeared in 2023 and which have been pleasing customers ever since.
They’ll Be Popping Up Where You Least Expect Them…
New M&M’s flavors usually come thick and fast, but so far this year, it’s been a little bit less willing to churn them out every week. We got a couple in January (its Lemon Meringue Pie flavor was a standout), which came in tandem with its flavor vote returning after 7 years. More recently, though, M&M’s seems to be focusing on being an inclusion in baked goods. The candy has popped up in Betty Crocker’s new M&M’s Fudgy Blondie Mix, which honestly sounds completely divine right about now.
It probably won’t be long until we see some new goodies from the candy gods in M&M form, though – so we wait with bated breath. Until then, it’s marshmallow time.
