Frozen pizza has always been there for you. Yes, it’s not the fanciest dinner in the world; yes, it can often be a bit of a last resort (although we prefer to think of it as a salvation when we just have no energy to make any decisions about what to eat); yes, it can often not be that great. But, despite all these things, it’s reliable. It’s steady. When you call, it answers.

It’s no surprise that we buy a lot of it, then. But which ones do people go for more than any other? Well, Instacart’s revealed it. In data shared with Food & Wine, the online shopping platform laid out which frozen pizza brands are the most popular. And the results are… kinda what you’d expect.
All Hail the Red Baron
Instacart’s data, which was collected from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, revealed what some of you might have already expected: Red Baron came out on top. The venerable pizza brand is affordable, has a bunch of flavors (including a new Korean BBQ pizza launched with Bibigo), and is absolutely everywhere, so it’s probably no shock that it’s reigning supreme. The second and third spots weren’t a big surprise either, going to DiGiorno and Totino’s, both brands that completely dominate the frozen aisle.
The rest of the results kinda read like a who’s who of common frozen pizza brands, proving that by and large, convenience and brand recognition (which is usually powered by billion-dollar food companies) win out. Jack’s, Lean Cuisine, and California Pizza Kitchen were the next popular, and the list was rounded out by Freschetta, Tombstone, Screamin’ Sicilian, and Home Run Inn. So many pies, so many options.
These Rising Crusts Are Rising Stars
Instacart also provided Food & Wine with data on the fastest-growing frozen pizza brands on its platform, and here’s where things got a bit more interesting. Unsurprisingly, Red Baron and DiGiorno also showed a lot of growth, with DiGiorno coming out on top (although, do they have any customers they haven’t reached yet?). But second on the list was Screamin’ Sicilian, a relatively new brand that also ranked in the highest-selling list. This company specializes in premium craft pizzas made with Wisconsin cheese, and its rise demonstrates that customers like their ‘za’s a little fancier.
Also on the list were Milton’s, Porta, Bellatoria, and Motor City Pizza Co., whose Supreme Deep Dish we dubbed the best frozen pizza in our taste-test. We love seeing our work influence people’s buying habits. Okay, obviously we know that its sales weren’t down to that, but we can dream, can’t we? With frozen pizza sales having been on the rise in the last few years due to the increasing cost of living and grocery prices, we can expect more and more names to appear as time goes on.
