Alani Nu’s New Cherry Bomb Flavor Is Coming—Here’s What We Know

It’s always a good day when a new Alani Nu Energy flavor comes across my desk. Today’s hot topic is especially exciting since I’ve known it (or at least something like it) was on the way since February. We’ll get into all that and more; let’s break down what we do and don’t know about Alani Nu’s new Cherry Bomb Energy.

What does Alani Nu Cherry Bomb taste like?

We don’t know just yet. At this time, all we have to go off of is the can design and flavor name (or names, since this flavor has been renamed since I first learned of it). While the name doesn’t give us much information beyond cherry, the can design offers a little more. 

The color scheme is primarily maroon, a popular color to associate with cherry colas and pepper sodas. Alani Nu already has Cherry Limeade and Cherry Slush flavors on shelves; could Cherry Bomb be Alani Nu’s take on cherry cola? Considering how much we liked their new parent company Celsius’ Cherry Cola flavor, I’d love to see an Alani Nu spin as well. 

Where did this information come from?

The first rumblings of this flavor came out back in February when Alani Nu registered a trademark for the phrase “Cherry Bombshell.” Ever since, I’ve been keeping a watchful eye out for developments on this specific flavor. I even referenced it in a different Alani Nu news (Nu-ws?) article back in April.

Those rumblings were made all the more real in the last few weeks when snack influencer (and close personal friend, no big deal) SnachWithZach was sent release information along with the product image seen in the image above by a reliable source. Alani Nu themselves haven’t officially confirmed anything regarding Cherry Bomb, nor do I expect them to anytime soon. Based on previous interactions I’ve had with Alani Nu representatives, the company line is basically “until it’s on shelves, we don’t confirm or acknowledge anything.”

When can I buy Alani Nu Cherry Bomb?

Per Zach’s sources, we can expect this drink to hit shelves in January 2026. Alani Nu historically doesn’t do exclusives or early releases, so I’d expect this to hit anywhere and everywhere by the end of that month. You know I’ll grab a can to review here on Sporked ASAP.
