Sorry, spring—we’re skipping right over you and getting into a real summer lineup at Aldi this week. Between refreshing teas and a sauce that’ll level up your summer grilling, we’re in formation for the warmer days ahead. And, since we’re talking about Aldi here, everything is pretty darn budget friendly, which we love. Save those high price tags for a time of the year when you’re not shelling out tons of cash to send your kids to a day camp they’re going to end up hating anyway.

Clancy’s Veggie Straws Multipack (4/15; $3.99)

Make lunches this summer—er, spring—simple with this pack of individually portioned veggie straws from Clancy’s. No more messing with Ziploc bags or sending your kid to school with a $20 Stasher they’re most certainly going to lose. Just close your eyes, reach into the box, and grab a little bag for the day ahead.

Whole & Simple Protein Bowls (4/15; $3.19)

We already got a sneak peek of these in the April Aldi roundup, but let’s dig in a little further. This week Aldi is launching two new microwavable protein bowls that’ll help make eating in the middle of the day a non-hassle. You can choose from either a Tahini & Chickpea Protein Bowl or an Edamame Energy Bowl, each of which contains 14g and 21g of protein, respectively.

Park St. Deli Chimichurri or Pesto Sauce (4/15; $2.89)

Aldi’s Park St. Deli label has some products we’ve really loved—and you can’t beat this price for herb-stuffed sauces like pesto and chimichurri. If you plan to do a lot of grilling this summer, grab some skirt steak and a tub of this chimichurri for a fancy churrascaria experience at home. We can’t vouch for their pesto, but the fact that it comes refrigerated bodes well.

Simply Nature Organic Teas (4/15; $3.99)

Aldi’s bringing a whole array of new, ready-to-drink teas to their stores this week, and each has a different base. There’s a mango-pineapple green tea, ginger-peach black tea, and hibiscus-berry herbal tea. Pick based on flavor—or your caffeine needs.

Live GFree Gluten Free Donuts (4/15; $4.99)

Naturally, the label Live GFree is offering up gluten free products. This week they’re launching two different types of donuts: glazed or chocolate frosted. $4.99 seems a little pricey for what you’re getting. If they’re genuinely good gluten free donuts though then I suppose they’re worth the price.
