Frito-Lay Is Adding These 15 Snacks in 2025

After some bad news last week in the world of Frito-Lay, in which we learned that not one, or two, but fifteen different snacks will be discontinued by Frito in 2025, there is light at the end of the tunnel! Thanks once again to SnachWithZach and yours truly (Team Supernova), we know what new Frito-Lay products will be replacing the discontinued snacks. (Some we’ve talked about before.) Without further ado, here’s what you can expect in 2025 from Frito Lay!

New Doritos Flavors

Sources tell us we will see the return of Doritos Late Night Loaded Taco (the formerly Kroger-exclusive flavor will not be exclusive this time), as well as the return of Doritos Dinamita Xxxtra Flamin Hot (which will also no longer be a Kroger exclusive). Next year will also bring the long awaited and highly anticipated Doritos Tangy Golden Sriracha, which I am personally very excited to get my hands on.

New Cheetos Flavors

While Cheetos is bidding adieu to Cheetos Popcorn and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Popcorn, it seems that a couple of almost identical products will be stepping into those shoes. Sources say Frito-Lay reportedly plans to release Smartfood Cheetos Popcorn as well as Smartfood Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Popcorn. At this time we’re not sure if the formula will be different or if this is just a relabel to be more Smartfood-centric. Also new to the world of Cheetos is the very hyped up Cheetos Puffs Cheese Pizza, which folks have been buzzing about since Frito-Lay showed the new flavor off at the NACS trade show earlier this year.

New BBQ Flavored Snacks

If you’re on team BBQ, Frito-Lay has two new BBQ-flavored snacks cooking for next year. Get ready for Ruffles BBQ (yep, there’s no standard BBQ flavored Ruffles at the moment) and SunChips Honey BBQ!

New Pretzel Flavors

Fans of Rold Gold pretzels will be excited to learn that Frito-Lay reportedly plans to release three new pretzel flavors in 2025: Doritos Cool Ranch Pretzels, Dill Pickle Pretzels, and a new variety of Flamin’ Hot Pretzels (sources were not clear about what exactly this new Flamin’ Hot flavor is just yet).

EVERYTHING ELSE!

As for our beloved miscellaneous category, Frito-Lay plans to release Smartfood Brown Butter & Sea Salt, Tostitos Hint of Queso, Poppables Sweet Potato Sea Salt, as well as bringing us a return of an LTO from this year: Popcorners Jalapeno Popper.

When Will These New Flavors Hit Shelves?

There are no exact dates set in place, but our sources tell us these changes typically take place in January. So, if any of these new snacks sound like they may be up your alley, it may not hurt to add them to your hunting list now!
