From new exclusive flavors to a mystery flavor to water, Gatorade has been very busy in the last few years and they’re showing no signs of slowing down. Gatorade turns 60 next year and our sources tell us that fans of the sports drink have quite a lot to look forward to celebrate the diamond anniversary of Gatorade. Here’s all the news on the new Gatorade products coming down the pike.
4 All New Gatorade Flavors
According to sources, we’ve got not one, not two, but FOUR new Gatorade flavors coming at us. First, Aqua Blast will land exclusively at Walmart in early January in 28 oz bottles. While we don’t know the flavor profile, we do know it’s blue. Everyone loves blue Gatorade. (I believe this is a scientifically confirmed fact—no need to look it up.)
In late February, Kroger will drop Tidal Freeze Zero, which appears to be a white Gatorade flavor, in 28 oz bottles. All of the “Freeze” flavors of Gatorade have historically been very tasty (I am a huge advocate of Glacier Freeze), so I am optimistic for this one.
In late March, the next chain to join the exclusivity fun is 7-Eleven/Speedway. There, you’ll find a yellow Gatorade called Electric Flash, also in 28 oz bottles. I’m personally hoping this is some sort of pineapple flavor or maybe lemon.
That brings us to a new Circle K exclusive flavor of Gatorade, also launching in late March: an orange-hued Gatorade called Summer Blaze. I’m really hoping this is some sort of mango or maybe peach flavor.
Gatorade Mashup Flavors
In late April, Walmart will be receiving 8pks of 20 oz bottles of a mashup Gatorade flavor, combining Cool Blue and Fruit Punch. This isn’t the only mashup flavor planned for next year and it’s a concept we’re really eager to see.
While Walmart will have 8pks exclusively, you’ll be able to find 28 oz bottles of Cool Blue x Fruit Punch Gatorade everywhere the brand is sold. At the same time, 28 oz bottles of Lemon Lime x Orange Gatorade will also drop in stores. And in early August, sources tell us that Gatorade plans to release a mashup of two of the greatest flavors of all time: Glacier Cherry x Glacier Freeze in 28 oz bottles. Count us in!
New Gatorade “Wellness” Drinks
A new wellness line called Gatorade Revive (sources tell us the name may change) is planned for 2025. It contains no sugar or sweeteners, but is infused with lemon juice and contains 100% of your daily value of Vitamin A, C, and B3, B5, and B6. Sources tell us that a strawberry-watermelon flavor is planned for launch, but a whole line is in the works so more flavors will be hitting shelves as well. At this time it is not known when exactly in 2025 these new Gatorade drinks will be released.
Whew! That’s a LOT of new Gatorade. Prep your shopping lists, your refrigerators, and start planning that Gatorade diamond anniversary themed party.
