Cadbury Eggs are old news (even if they are getting small this year). Robbins Eggs may be some of the best Easter candy, but *snore.* Sure, we tried the donut-flavored Dunkin’ Eggs and were obsessed. But what have you done for me lately, Easter Bunny? Lindt is here with the answer. The chocolate experts are releasing a new Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate Egg this year.

What is a Dubai Style Chocolate Egg?

According to @markie_devo on Instagram, we’ll be getting some adorable Lindt milk chocolate eggs filled with pistachio paste and crispy kadaifi (shredded phyllo). Per Markie, the pistachio filling is made with 45% pistachio, so it should be super flavorful and nutty. Each box comes with six individually wrapped eggs. And the eggs are etched with a spring-inspired design. This has grown-up Easter treat written all over it.

When will it be available?

You can already buy these Dubai chocolate Easter eggs on Lindt’s website in other countries like England and Germany, but Americans won’t have to wait long to get their hands on them. They won’t even have to wait for the Valentine’s Day candy to clear the shelves. They should be heading to all major stores next week.

Will these new Lindt Dubai chocolate eggs be any good?

If these new Lindt chocolate eggs are anything like the Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate bar, then yes. They’ll be good. We gave the Lindt Dubai chocolate bar 8.5/10 sporks in our review. And our main quibble was that it could use more filling. These eggs might solve that problem! Check back for our review when we get our hands on these new eggs.

Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients. Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now). Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test! Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
