Lunchables has launched two new products in their line of Snackables. What are Snackables, you ask? They’re Lunchables that are snack-sized instead of lunch-sized. And like Lunchables, you don’t have to do any gathering of items. Everything you need is in the Snackable. No Ziploc bags need to be messed with.

These new Lunchables Snackables are a return to form, of sorts. Lunchables is best known for portable packs of crackers and cheese and they’re stepping back into the space with these suckers.
What’s in the new Lunchables Snackables?
Well, I sorta spoiled it up there, but, in short, cheese and crackers and other stuff, too. There are two new varieties: “Snackables with Welch’s fruit snacks, cheddar cheese, and mini crackers” and “Snackables with colby and monterey jack cheese, mini crackers, and chocolate chip graham crackers.” Yes, the names of these new Snackables are what’s in these new Snackables—no mistakes can be made!
They went a little rogue with the current line of Snackables, which consists of Chicken Bites (aka cold chicken nuggets that come with ranch and ketchup) and Pretzels with Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chips. The Sporked team actually liked the latter of the two, which used to be part of a line called Lunchables Dunkables. They narrowly made our ranking of the best Lunchables with 6 out of 10 Sporks. Given that these new Snackables are more, how do you say, traditional, we have higher hopes for them.
What else do we know about these new Lunchables Snackables?
According to food news Instagram account Candyhunting, these new Snackables are heading to stores as we speak (in fact, the cheese, crackers, and graham crackers version is already listed on Target’s website for $2.99). They come in packs of two that are perforated, so you just rip them apart.
One observation: They’re definitely going a healthier route with the fruit snack choice. Instead of regular Mixed Fruit Welch’s fruit snacks, the Snackables comes with the Lower Sugar Mixed Fruit Welch’s fruit snacks. We’re actually big fans of Welch’s Reduced Sugar fruit snacks (they’re our second favorite fruit snacks of them all), but it’s not quite clear if Lower sugar = Reduced Sugar. If so, they have 25% less sugar than the original version, which is great for kids and dieters, alike.
Also, the chocolate graham crackers in question are shaped like little bears, but they aren’t explicitly Teddy Grahams. The inspo is clear, though.
We love a snack with a salty and a sweet, so we’ll definitely be snagging these once we see them at the grocery store—you?
