New Halloween M&M’s Are Dropping

Let’s be real: Halloween starts in the summer. It’s the time to get in a swimsuit, lay out by the pool, and scroll through Pinterest to piece together the costume of your dreams. Luckily, Mars is poolside with you, already planning for the spooky season. The candy making company just released its 2024 Halloween product lineup, and it’s got everything. It’s got Twix, it’s got Snickers, and, most of all, it has a new spooktacular treat: Milk Chocolate Pumpkin Pie M&M’s. Cue the evil laughter and lightning.

Okay, maybe this flavor is less deserving of an evil “MWAHAHAHAHA” and more deserving of a cozy “Mmmmm!” because this honestly seems like the perfect candy to snuggle up with by the fire. I mean, what better way to comfort yourself after a day of ghouls and goblins than with chocolatey goodness and nostalgic pumpkin pie flavor all captured in a perfectly crunchy candy shell? And all of this without a baking disaster that threatens to ruin Thanksgiving and your parents’ relationship? We’re sold!

What else does Mars have in store for Halloween?

Alongside the debut of Milk Chocolate Pumpkin Pie M&M’s, Mars plans to bring back a number of Halloween fan favorites. From Ghoulish Green Snickers and Twix (one of our favorite Halloween candies from last year), to redesigned Snickers Pumpkins, to M&M’s Ghouls Mix (M&M’s in “spooky” colors) in milk chocolate, peanut, and peanut butter, Mars has quite a few hauntingly snackable treats in store.

In addition to announcing their lineup, Mars released their inaugural Mars Tricks, Treats and Trends report, a report that details Halloween candy consumer patterns. In response to the report’s finding that both chocolate treats and fruity candies hold consumers’ hearts, Mars has decided to include both fruity gummies AND chocolate candies in its variety bags this year.Of course, it’s important to remember the bite-sized pumpkin pie pieces and green chocolate bars won’t be here until Halloween season (which, if we’re honest, could be any day now). In the meantime, I’ll be busy perfecting my sexy Dr. Evil costume so by the time Halloween comes I’ll be ready to dig into one million Milk Chocolate Pumpkin Pie M&M’s with my pinky up!
