Last week, we told you about a range of nostalgic Pokemon-themed snacks (including new Pokémon Pop Tarts) that Target was releasing in honor of the 30th anniversary of monster-catching game. Well, now we’re getting even more Pokémon-themed snacks thanks to maker Pepperidge Farms, who is releasing a line of their ever-popular Goldfish crackers, with each themed to a different iconic Pokémon.

While each edition will feature unique colors and shapes mixed into the regular “goldfish” crackers, they’ll all have the same Cheddar flavor. I gotta admit, I’m a little disappointed we won’t get different flavors here, as the “Charmander Edition,” seems perfect for a little extra heat to it.
The types include:
“Pikachu Edition” (yellow)
This isn’t the first time Goldfish has made a Pikachu-shaped Goldfish cracker. Back in 2025 they released a Pikachu and poke ball mixed pack. Pikachu is the only full-bodied Pokemon shape featured in this release—probably because the brand seemingly just reused the Pokemon from the 2025 drop.
“Bulbasaur Edition” (green)
Green Bulbasaur faces! Cute!
“Squirtle Edition” (blue)
Blue Squirtle faces! Probably the weirdest color out of the bunch. You don’t see a lot of blue snacks.
“Charmander Edition” (red)
Red Charmander faces! Somehow not spicy.
I’ll resist making a “Gotta catch em all” joke, if only to avoid encouraging the scalpers, who are already slapping them up on eBay.
What people are saying about the new Goldfish
Instagram food influencer @snackolator posted about this new Goldfish release, sharing that they had already been spotted at Walmart. Commenters were quick to critique the look of the crackers and call out the Pokemon they wished Goldfish had used instead.
“I love how they were like ‘Let’s do a full body Pikachu cracker in exquisite detail!’ and then they got to the other three guys and were like ‘f*ck it, close enough,'” one commenter wrote. “No purple Gengar / Haunter makes me sad 👻,” a fan of the ghost-type Pokemon wrote.
Which character will you snag first (if you can find them before the scalpers do)? Let us know in the comments.
