Confession time: I am of the controversial opinion that classic Oreos are the best Oreos. Yep. Just the OG chocolate-and-cream perfection—no extra layers, no double-triple-quadruple stuff. But I do appreciate a good seasonal theme or flavor every now and then. And honestly? This has been an incredible year for Oreo flavors. If Oreo keeps this up, I may have to reconsider my “classic is best” stance… or at least pencil in seasonal hoarding as a new autumn tradition.
Here’s our roundup of new and returning limited edition Oreos (and Oreo-related products)—some we’ve already taste-tested, some we’re still hunting down, but all worth putting on your snack radar.
Oreo BOO!
This Halloween classic is back for spooky season 2025! Same chocolate cookies, same mysteriously orange crème, that doesn’t taste orange, just is orange (I still don’t know what’s “scary” about orange, but okay), and five ghoulish embossings to ogle before you chow down!
Halloween Oreo Puffs Cereal
First of all, moment of silence for Oreo O’s. Gone, but never forgotten.
Now, Oreo Puffs have stepped into our hearts and on to our grocery store shelves. These Halloween Oreo Puffs are a riff on the original, with a spooky twist, orange marshmallows that completely dissolve into the milk, turning it neon orange. Does milk turning orange count as witchcraft? Either way—delicious.
Apple Pie à la Mode Oreos
If you liked the old Apple Pie Oreos, prepare your taste buds. This new limited edition Oreo flavor is extra special, with apple pie vanilla creme that’s meant to mimic the combo of apple pie and vanilla ice cream. They’re already available online, and reviews so far are glowing. I’m waiting for them to hit shelves so I can panic-buy!
Reese’s Oreo Cookies
Oreo + Reese’s = pure chaotic good. These are just like classic chocolate Oreo cookies but stuffed with peanut butter crème straight out of a Reese’s cup. We tried them early and… angels sang. Worth the hype, worth the calories, worth hoarding like you’re preparing for winter.
Reese’s Oreo Cups
And because apparently one collab treat wasn’t enough, we’re also getting Reese’s Cups topped with Oreo crème, filled with peanut butter, and packed with Oreo cookie crumbles. Oreo sent us a sample. We are forever changed. These belong in your Halloween candy bowl… or in your freezer so you can eat them one a week until March.
Reese’s Oreo Miniature Cups
Bigger is not always better—or so says Sporked Writer Griffin Parker… fine, he didn’t say that exactly, but he did say that the minis are more fun to eat, because you get both the white and regular chocolate bits in the same bite! These are highly pass-around-able, by virtue of their itty-bitty size!
