In typical fashion, Oreo has spent the last couple of weeks gearing up for a busy holiday period. What else is new? The cookie brand really comes into its own this time of year, and the surfeit of new products we’ve seen for 2026 definitely proves my point here: Oreo has dropped five new flavors, as well as an advent calendar that received a fair bit of criticism for its high price. High price or not, though, that was also new. Like I said – busy.

To be honest, though, none of those cookies or advent-related treats have excited me as much as its latest product, which I’m begging someone to send over to the UK. I just need one box. That’s all I ask. It’s…an Oreo Truffles Mix.
Betty Crocker x Oreo Truffles Mix
This year, Oreo is teaming up with Betty Crocker to release a new Truffles Mix, right in time for the holidays. This mix is an amped-up version of the one the two brands have previously released, which has a powdered sugar finish – and which has boasted impressive reviews from customers. Its new Truffles Mix brings the crunch, with blue jimmies and white snowflake sprinkles to coat each truffle.
It’s a small change, but a smart one. Without any kind of contrast, truffles can quickly come across as almost insistently soft and squishy. As for the truffles themselves, they’re made with real Oreo pieces, and there’s no baking required. You just mix, roll, and serve. If you’re looking for a way to keep your kids entertained when schools break up, this is the ideal pastime.
An Oreo-Flavored Canvas
The beauty of these Oreo Truffles being no-bake means you don’t have to worry quite as much about structural integrity or extra ingredients stopping them from cooking properly – and as such, I’m already thinking of ways you could amp them up. A splash of dark rum or some brandy, for example, would give them a way more mature flavor and cut through some of the sweetness (maybe skip that one if you’re making them with kids, though). Or you could mix the jimmies and snowflake sprinkles with some freeze-dried berries, which would give them not only a pop of tartness, but a more festive look.
Or, just make them as they come. Take the most direct path to sweet success. Literally no judgment on my part if you do that; the holidays are busy enough without thinking about how to get cheffy with your boxed mixes. No matter what you choose, you can find this Truffles Mix at Target now.
