Papa John’s Brings Back Its Wildest Stuffed Crust Pizza Yet

Papa John’s is never one to do things by halves. The pizza chain knows exactly how to seize the moment and make headlines, and throughout 2026, it’s been doing that by hopping on food trends (we’re still thinking about its protein pizza) and big news moments, in the form of its Spirit Airlines loyalty offer and its deal to celebrate Taylor Swift’s wedding. And now, we find it doing that same thing again – with a stuffed crust.

But this isn’t any old stuffed crust. Oh, no. This one’s different. And you might have seen it before.

Papa John’s Epic Pepperoni-Stuffed Crust

Papa John’s announced in a press release yesterday that it was bringing back its Epic Pepperoni-Stuffed Crust, a fan-favorite offer that’s returning for a limited time. This stuffed crust is…well…what it sounds like. It’s a crust, filled with pepperoni…and cheese! Each bite is salty, spicy, cheesy, and garlicky, with a finish of Papa John’s garlic seasoning – it’s a lot, but Papa John’s isn’t exactly trying to be subtle with this one. 

Papa John’s Epic Pepperoni-Stuffed Crust has been around for a minute, even if we haven’t seen it for a while. It first came out in April 2022 and reappeared in 2023. It’ll start at $14.99 for a large one-topping pizza, and like any of its other pizzas, you can customize them to your whim and pleasure. You can get it nationwide – but it’s limited-time, remember, so move quick!

And Is This Good News For Everyone? 

Not everyone, no. The return of the Epic Pepperoni-Stuffed Crust might be a thrill for fans of it who have missed being able to order it, but Papa John’s staff are, it’s fair to say, less than pleased. Over the last few weeks, Reddit has been awash with posts from Papa John’s employees who have heard internally that the pepperoni stuffed crust is on its way back, and they’re already dreading having to make it. “Please do your best to inform all your DOs, corporate liaisons, and brand coaches that this promotion is possibly the worst thing they can do,” said one particularly frustrated person over on Reddit. “They take forever to make. They are going to promo at 14.99 so cheaper than the regular stuff crust so everyone is going to order them instead of regular stuff crust.”

That person finished off their plea by saying that the stuffed crust “doesn’t even taste good.” We’d imagine there will be a few people who disagree with that, but hey – you might want to be mindful of when you order this thing. Going for it during a busy dinner rush probably won’t put you in any good books.
