The day has finally come: We have the new Oreo cookies and creme Reese’s Cups. These new hybrids feature an Oreo creme-flavored white chocolate top, plus Oreo cookie crumbles embedded in the peanut butter filling. The nice people at Oreo and Reese’s sent over early samples of the new Oreo-flavored Reese’s Cups (plus samples of the new Reese’s Peanut Butter Creme Oreo cookies—read my review of those).
And, as if one size wouldn’t be enough, the Oreo-flavored Reese’s Cups will be available in three sizes: King Size, Big Cups, and Miniatures. I’ll be tackling the Miniatures today—my personal favorite size of Reese’s Cup, fight me in the comments. (I might come back with an update once I get my hands on the full trio of sizes.) Onto the good part!
When can I get these new Reese’s Cups?
If you want your hands on these new Reese’s Cups as soon as possible, check out the online pre-sale starting August 18th. If you aren’t the type to bulk order a case of candy just to try it a few weeks early (most people, if I had to guess), Reese’s Oreo Cups will be sold wherever Reese’s products are sold starting in September—no exclusivity to worry about here.
And here’s some very good news: These new Reese’s Cups aren’t going anywhere! Per the brand, all three sizes of Reese’s Oreo Cups will be permanent additions to the Reese’s product lineup. Oreo could only stay best friends with Coca-Cola for a few months, but this bestie-ship is forever.
