Rhett & Link Taste Every Flamin’ Hot Snack

Ever find yourself in the mood for something spicy but you just don’t have the time or energy to re-watch Love Is Blind season two? Well, look no further for your dose of heat, because on an August 2022 episode of Good Mythical Morning, Rhett & Link tasted every Flamin’ Hot snack they could get their red powder-stained hands on to determine which is best and should thus be named the “Flamin’ Hot Jackpot.” The final four were all so good that things definitely got a bit spicy toward the end of the taste test.

Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Mac’N Cheese

The guys admitted that the Flamin’ Hot mac was a bit gimmicky, but it was also absolutely delicious (the Sporked crew likes it, too). Link loved its “vibrant, flagrant color” (the color being red) and encouraged us to “look at the brightness!” The Flamin’ Hot flavor in this one really seems to permeate the noodle itself. They both really liked it and agreed it was both tasty and not too hot. It’s just fun!

Funyuns Flamin’ Hot

When Link first saw these he delightedly exclaimed, “Oh, look at that it’s a circle!!!” Beyond just the shape, both Rhett & Link loved the crunch of these bad boys. Link even started dancing and saying, “Now we’re doing it! Look at me havin’ fun!” Rhett marveled at the fact that even after the Flamin’ Hot part fades, you still get loads of great Funyun flavor.

Doritos Flamin’ Hot Nacho

Link took one look at these and commented that they “look as though they are not playin,’” by which he meant: these things are red. Despite that, when you eat these you get hit with the nacho first. If you are like Rhett and you love both Doritos and all things Flamin’ Hot, you will love these. This is a really great combo—it just works.

Doritos Flamin’ Hot Cool Ranch

Lastly, the winner of it all. The Flamin’ Hot Jackpot herself, Flamin’ Hot Cool Ranch Doritos! When Rhett heard the name of these he said, “Oh! I didn’t even know about you!” Rhett thought the Flamin’ Hot flavor didn’t mesh as well with Cool Ranch as it did with Nacho, but Link actually liked this better than the Nacho combo. Later, they both agreed this flavor was king because there’s just something about the complementary nature of cool and hot at the same time.

Honorable mentions: Flamin’ Hot Kettle Cooked Lay’s reminded them of Krunchers, a chip from their childhoods, and just had great flavor, texture, and heat overall. Cheetos Puffs Flamin’ Hot were a “great delivery method for Flamin’ Hot.” They both thought Munchies Flamin’ Hot Peanuts were super solid, and Rhett loved the Matador Flamin’ Hot Snack Stick. Link didn’t, but Link doesn’t like meat sticks.
