It’s a big day for the Peanut Butter Boys. On today’s episode of Good Mythical Morning, Rhett & Link tasted all of the available Reese’s candy varieties (that’s 30 Reese’s candies) and scored them from 1 to 100. Disclaimer: Their ranking doesn’t include Reese’s snack products or seasonal Reese’s. That’s a shame because the Reese’s Bats slay all day.
The stakes have never been sweeter, as only the finest Reese’s candy product will make it to the top four. Let’s delve into the world of peanut butter and chocolate combinations; there’s so much to choco-bout!
- Milk Chocolate Reese’s Big Cup with Reese’s Puffs Cereal (Rhett: 92, Link: 77)
-
The Reese’s Big Cup selections are thicker than the traditional Reese’s cups. We stan thick options. Rhett & Link also agreed that this Big Cup with Reese’s Puffs Cereal is pretty tasty. In fact, Link thought it tasted better than the regular Big Cup that they tried. Rhett said he likes that “you get a crunch without changing the taste of the peanut butter too much because the cereal already tastes like the peanut butter.” However, he did mention that this offering feels gimmicky.
- Reese’s Minis Unwrapped Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups (Rhett: 82, Link: 93)
-
These Reese’s Minis tied for third with the Reese’s Puffs cups, even though Rhett admitted he isn’t as crazy about mini Reese’s because he thinks the original has a better chocolate-to-peanut butter ratio (the minis taste more chocolatey than peanut buttery). “As a peanut butter boy, I’m disappointed,” Rhett said. Link, on the other hand, loved that these are easy to eat and addictive. Link said, “This is so good, because I don’t debate whether I should eat half of it or all of it.”
- Reese’s Original Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups (Rhett: 97, Link: 80)
-
When you visualize a Reese’s, this OG is what comes to mind. Let’s not discount that. Rhett respects tradition and said, “That’s almost a perfect candy.”
- Reese’s Big Cup with Pretzels (Rhett: 88, Link: 80)
-
Link shared my skepticism about Reese’s Big Cup with Pretzels. Before trying one, he said, “Ain’t no way!” His famous last words, apparently. Both Rhett & Link like that you don’t actually taste pretzels in these; rather, the peanut butter just tastes saltier and crunchier. As Rhett put it, “The salt kind of enhances the flavor of the peanut butter.”
