Sam’s Club’s on a bit of a push with its prepared chicken, it seems. The ever-busy big-box store dropped a new Member’s Mark Southern Style Chicken Sandwich a couple of weeks back, and got its customers talking (although not for the right reasons, to be totally honest). Now, it’s pulling back a little with its new prepared food item. Think less bun, more chicken, and more versatility.

What on earth am I talking about? I’m talking about its new breaded chicken breasts. Simple, but effective. Let’s dig in.
Sam’s Club Member’s Mark Breaded Chicken Breasts
Sam’s Club has just quietly dropped its new Member’s Mark Breaded Chicken Breasts in its deli section, and while it’s hard to get too excited about such a simple item, this one may prove that you don’t have to reinvent the wheel to catch people’s interest. In each pack, you get a selection of…breaded chicken breasts. No more, no less. Priced at $6.24 per pound, these fully cooked breasts are ready to go; you just need to warm them through (ideally in the air fryer or the oven, as these won’t be crispy until you heat them up).
This new release has caused a bit more conversation than you might think, given the relative basicness of these Breaded Chicken Breasts – and most of that conversation is centered around how good they are. Over on the Sam’s Club Favorites Facebook page, people have been saying that these breaded breasts are “absolutely great,” with another person stating, “These are delicious.” Another customer summed up the utility of this item nicely, stating, “I’d be more likely to buy this than the grilled chicken breasts because breading chicken is so much more work than grilling it.” Well, absolutely.
Uses, Uses, Uses
In our book, the best thing about these will be how flexible they are. Yes, you can put them in a homemade chicken sandwich (although how homemade is it if the breading’s been done for you?), but others have already used them in chicken marsala. You could put together chicken Caesar wraps; you could use them in a katsu curry; you could make chicken parmesan. You could make chicken and waffles. You could add them to tacos. You could cut them up into chicken fingers. You can do WHATEVER YOU WANT, people! And you can do it right now, at your leisure, if you head to Sam’s Club’s prepared foods section.
