Birria has suddenly become a staple over the last few years. It’s been everywhere, from fast food restaurants’ menus to theme park tacos to the aisles of grocery stores. And one of the most-loved appearances birria has made in recent years happened at Moe’s Southwest Grill: Here, the birria used to make burritos, bowls, tacos, and more became an instant fan favorite.

Unfortunately, though, birria didn’t stick around at Moe’s restaurants. It first debuted back in 2024, and it was such a hit that it returned in 2025. Wondering what the plan is for 2026? Well, we’ve got some good news.
Birria Is Returning to Moe’s This November
Yep, birria is coming back to Moe’s Southwest Grill for the third year in a row. So, if you’ve been longing for another taste, it’s here.
The slow-braised beef with a standout savory flavor profile is coming back for another limited-time run. And when birria returns to Moe’s, you’ll be able to order it in a variety of different dishes.
Oh, and Moe’s Southwest Grill has another treat in store for a limited time: If you’re a member of Moe Rewards, or you become a member, you’ll be able to get one Birria Dipper for free with any purchase. This offer runs from November 4 through November 22.
Birria is back and it’s discounted? Now that’s a deal you don’t want to miss out on if you love the birria Moe’s has on offer. In addition to Birria Dippers, there will be plenty of other ways to taste this fan favorite menu addition. Thanks to the variety of ways you can try the meat filling and its simmered spice blend, it’ll be easy to find multiple items that are only made better with birria (which is obviously already why so many love it).
Get Your Order Ready: Here’s When You Can Enjoy That Birria
If you’ve been eagerly awaiting birria’s return to Moe’s Southwest Grill, that wait is almost over. You’ll find birria back on the menu starting Wednesday, November 4.
Unfortunately, birria won’t be sticking around forever at this particular taco chain. It will, however, be on the menu for a longer run this time around. Once birria returns on November 4, it’ll be available through spring 2027.
While this is definitely an extended run, I’d still recommend making sure you enjoy as much birria from Moe’s as you can while it’s available. You never know when (or if) it’ll return again once its end date arrives next spring.
