The Newest Monster Energy Flavor Won’t Be Sold In The U.S.

Alright Monster, do we have beef? First Europe got the Lando Norris Monster Energy flavor that I quite literally had to travel all the way to Ireland to try and now they’re getting another? Do we mean nothing to you? Are the armies of middle schoolers in Cookie Monster pajama pants not buying enough Monster drinks to earn your love? It gets to a certain point.

Nitro Blue Flash Heads To (Some) Stores

Monster Nitro Blue Flash combines the powerful Monster Energy blend with a light blueberry flavo(u)r. Sorry, I figured I should cater to the real audience for this one as us Americans are left looking longingly from the sidelines. The Blue Flash builds on the success of the Nitro Range of products that first rolled into stores two years ago.

Brits will already be able to find Monster Nitro Blue Flash in stores. It features a striking blue background that highlights the iconic Monster claw logo. Basically, Monster is hoping to clickbait in the aisles to get sales flowing and I respect the grind. What I don’t respect is the betrayal that they’ve shown the American market.

Can You Tell I’m Bitter?

It’s outrageous! It’s a scandal! We should not take this sitting down. That’s right. I’m standing up and writing this as we speak. People need to know what is going on in the world! How could Monster do this to us?

Clearly I must have an opp at Monster that I didn’t know about considering what happened the last time around. In what is incredibly convenient timing, the Lando Norris Monster flavor actually came to the United States not too long after my taste test. I can only hope that this means that there’s still a shining light of hope for us to get to experience the Blue Flash flavor on American soil one day.

We’ll Be Here Patiently Waiting

Look. I’ve taken one trip across the pond for Monster, I’m not about to do it again. If you are a lucky soul who gets to taste this right away then please let me know how it tastes. In the meantime, I’ll keep browsing the drink aisle of my local Dollar Tree looking for my shining blue savior. At the very least, I know there’ll be some fun drinks there to help keep me occupied. At least I can always rely on Dollar Tree to keep me stocked on certified fun drinks.
