These Adorable S’mores Ice Cream Sandwiches Are Only Available At Target

S’mores are already a sandwich in the loosest possible sense. Nightingale has now decided to make that arrangement significantly more literal.

Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches is bringing the campfire classic to the freezer aisle with a new limited-edition S’mores Ice Cream Sandwich, made with chocolate toasted marshmallow ice cream, marshmallow fluff, and honey graham cookies.

So instead of sitting around a fire trying not to burn a marshmallow into a small piece of charcoal, you can now easily get the whole experience straight from the freezer.

Meet The S’mores Ice Cream Sandwich

The new ice cream sandwich starts with two honey graham cookies, which are doing the job of the graham crackers in a traditional s’more.

Between them is chocolate toasted marshmallow ice cream and marshmallow fluff, because one form of marshmallow is never enough.

The result is basically a s’more that has been rebuilt for the freezer aisle. You’ve still got the chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker combination, but now you can eat the whole thing without finding a campfire, a stick, or a way to explain why your marshmallow is on fire.

And unlike an actual s’more, it won’t immediately collapse into your hands.

This One Comes With A National Park Connection

The new flavor was created in partnership with the National Park Foundation, which is probably the most fitting organization Nightingale could have brought into a s’mores project.

S’mores and national parks have a fairly obvious relationship. They’re the kind of dessert that belongs in a campsite, preferably while someone is insisting they know the correct way to toast a marshmallow.

Nightingale is also donating a portion of sales from the S’mores Ice Cream Sandwich to support the National Park Foundation, so buying one comes with a small contribution to the parks, too.

It’s a considerably easier way to support the outdoors than actually going camping.

Where Can You Find Them?

The S’mores Ice Cream Sandwich is a Target exclusive, so you’ll need to head to the freezer aisle at Target if you want to try one.

It’s also a limited-edition flavor, which means this isn’t Nightingale permanently adding s’mores to the lineup. It’s here for the season, and then presumably the campfire goes out.

The sandwich is designed to be eaten straight from the freezer, no assembly required. Which is probably for the best. The whole point of an ice cream sandwich is that someone else already did the difficult part.

A S’more You Don’t Have To Make

There’s something very satisfying about taking a dessert that’s normally a small outdoor project and turning it into something you can grab from a freezer.

No fire. No skewers. No marshmallow stuck to the side of your hand. No arguing over whether the chocolate melted enough.

Just a graham cookie, chocolate ice cream, marshmallow fluff, and a freezer.

Nightingale has essentially taken the camping trip out of the s’more and left us with the part everyone actually came for.
