Dippers are oh-so-trendy right now, with restaurants like Taco Bell and Habit Burger & Grill dipping their toes into the market with new menu items like Double Dipping Burritos and Dipping Trio featuring burgers. And now, Ohio-based restaurant Hot Head Burritos is getting in on the dipping action with a new, limited-time line of its own dipping sauce-ready bites.
It’s Time to Get Saucy With a New Spin on Dippers
Hot Head Burritos is giving the dippers trend a try with its own new menu addition: Dippers.
Yes, the name is simple, and so is the concept. Hot Head Burritos has created Dippers that are essential like mini burritos (or rolled tacos, if you prefer). They’re a pair of two rolled-up tortillas that come stuffed with your choice of meat — steak, chicken, carnitas, or potatoes — and cheese and sauce.
Sized just right for handheld eating and easy dipping, the Dippers also come with queso. However, you don’t have to stick with that cheesy option; you can switch to one of Hot Head Burritos’ other sauces if you prefer.
How to Get Your Hands on Hot Head Burritos’ Dippers
As a sauce enthusiast myself, Hot Head Burritos is capitalizing on what’s already been proven to be a genius idea — and if you’re hoping to pick up the restaurant chain’s new Dippers to try for yourself, you can do so right now.
Hot Head Burritos originally released its Dippers on November 2, and they’re sticking around for a few months. They are a limited-time menu offering, so they’ll only be available for purchase through January 3. That means you can pick up a few during the holiday season for easy snacking (and plenty of sauce, obviously).
Saucemaxxers won’t want to miss the chance to try all of the available dipping sauces that Hot Head Burritos has on tap. You can try Dippers with the standard queso or get more creative and add some heat with sauces like Avocado Lime, Mango Habanero, Jalapeño Ranch, or Citrus Chipotle BBQ.
There is one downside to the new Dippers, though. While Hot Head Burritos does have nearly 90 restaurants available for you to visit, they’re only in eight states. So, if you don’t happen to live in one of those states, you might miss out (or need to adjust your upcoming travel plans, if you’re interested).
