Now Your Lips Can Smell Like Cinnabon Frosting

We find ourselves here yet again, people. YET. AGAIN. 2026 has been one of the biggest years yet for foods being morphed into cosmetic, beauty, and body care products, and as the months have rolled on, things have gotten successively weirder (if there was any doubt about that, you can now get candy corn perfume, courtesy of Brach’s). One interesting little subsection of all of this has been scented lip care products, which have popped up every couple of months. Admittedly, not all of these have felt that strange – Olipop’s soda-flavored lip balms made sense to me – but others definitely have. Dill pickle lip balm? Pistachio lip balm? It’s all been happening.

Now, we have another item that I would argue fits into the latter camp…because it is, apparently, inspired by cream cheese frosting. And it’s coming courtesy of Cinnabon and Mane. 

Mane x Cinnabon Beauty Kit

Yesterday, Cinnabon announced a new collaboration with beauty brand Mane, and the launch of their new limited-edition Mane x Cinnabon Beauty Kit. The kit contains a Pink Jelly Pop Brush and Mirror and a Cinnabon Reward Card – but the star of the show is its Extra Frosting Lip Gloss, which is, the press release says, “inspired by Cinnabon’s signature cream cheese frosting.”

Now, Cinnabon’s cream cheese frosting isn’t especially cheesy – it’s sweet, vanilla-forward, and rich – so I would imagine this actually smells and tastes very good. But it’s the cream cheese of it all that throws me here; the mention of it is conjuring up images of daubing it on my lips straight from the tub, which I know isn’t logical. But that’s what’s happened. 

Nonetheless, the Mane x Cinnabon Beauty Kit fits snugly into the latter brand’s push for interesting new collabs this year. “Cinnabon continues to search for unexpected ways for fans to engage with the brand through partnerships that blend nostalgia, creativity and self-expression,” said its president, Nathan Baldwin, in the press release – and we saw that just last week, with the release of Cinnabon & Wicked Cutz Bacon Jerky. Cinnabon, you have my attention.
