Krispy Kreme loves a collab. Let’s take a roll call of just some of the ones it’s dropped this year: its Krispy Kreme x SpongeBob, Krispy Kreme x Milk Bar, and Krispy Kreme x Pokémon collaborations have all brought us bespoke doughnuts and plenty to talk about. Its Halloween partnership with Looney Tunes, though, has been especially high-profile. Last week, Krispy Kreme dropped its new Looney Tunes Halloween Collection, featuring four new doughnuts – and this week, it’s doubled down on the collab with a new dozen, which is also Looney Tunes-themed.

Has it got more up its sleeve? Are we gonna get a new set of doughnuts every week until Halloween? Will it start rolling out some of the more minor characters in the Looney Tunes universe? We don’t know. For now, though, let’s take a look at this new doughnut set and talk about Krispy Kreme’s upcoming giveaway. Put your costume on!
Krispy Kreme Looney Tunes Lab Dozen
Yesterday, Krispy Kreme announced its new Looney Tunes Lab Dozen, which is designed to be a complement – an addendum, if you will – to its Halloween Collection. This new doughnut dozen contains nine Green Original Glazed Doughnuts and three new Looney Tunes Lab Doughnuts. The latter are Green Original Glazed Doughnuts topped with cookies and créme-flavored buttercreme, and then hit with chocolate cookie pieces, sprinkles, and a spooky, almost spidery icing drizzle.
These doughnuts may not be as flashy as its Halloween Collection, but if you’re planning a big old party in the next few days and you want a bit more variety, they could be a nice choice. The only caveat is that you’ll have to move quickly. Its Lab Dozen are only available for a couple of days, from October 13 through October 15 – which basically means you’ve got until the end of tomorrow to try them. After that? It’s back to the lab.
Free Doughnuts!
If you do miss Krispy Kreme’s Lab Dozen, though, there’s a consolation prize in a couple of weeks’ time. Krispy Kreme is running a free doughnut giveaway on October 30 and 31 for anybody who comes into one of its stores in a Halloween costume. You don’t even have to buy anything, either: Just turn up in your spooky garb, and you can get a free Original Glazed or Classic Ring Doughnut. If I’m being honest, that’s the big draw for me. I love Krispy Kreme’s doughnut collections and how creative they are, and how many of them the chain manages to produce — but I’ll never say no to a freebie.
