Slurpee Day is coming up in less than two months, which means it’s time for 7-Eleven to start teasing some of the promotions surrounding their July 11th festivities. We got word of a major one just this week: AriZona + Slurpee? Yes, per 7-Eleven, the brands are working together on a blue raspberry Slurpee-flavored AriZona Fruit Juice Cocktail. I’ve covered cookie ouroboroses before, but this is a whole different level of complicated.

What is this new drink?
As far as I can tell, this is one of AriZona’s standard Fruit Juice Cocktails designed to taste like a Blue Raspberry Slurpee. Only time will tell whether this AriZona Slurpee Big Can manages to deliver not only the flavor but the refreshing sensation of sucking down a Slurpee on a sweltering summer day.
Believe it or not, this AriZona Slurpee drink isn’t the first Slurpee-flavored beverage to come out of the 7-Eleven drink cooler; I covered a Cherry & Blue Raspberry Slurpee Replenish last year. (Replenish is 7-Eleven’s in-house sports drink brand sold alongside Gatorade and POWERADE.)
When and where can I get my hands on an AriZona Slurpee Blue Raspberry Fruit Juice Cocktail?
Unfortunately, I didn’t get the precise release date of this AriZona Slurpee drink by the time this piece was set to be published. That said, I am sure we’ll see this on shelves nationwide before Slurpee Day on July 11th. (Get it? It’s 7/11.)
Speaking of 7-Eleven, you might think this would be exclusive to 7-Eleven locations–not quite. 7-Eleven owns and stocks all Stripes and Speedway locations nationwide with 7-Eleven-branded product lines and exclusives. Here in the Midwest, we definitely have more Speedway gas stations than 7-Eleven or Stripes; I actually go past the former Speedway headquarters (which now flies a 7-Eleven flag in a downright nautical version of your standard corporate takeover) pretty regularly.
